OF3 sure seems like it’s just one year old Sauvignon Blanc aged SDF. I don’t think it’s blended with older beer.

They’re really hyping this next Grisette release. Coming 12/16! Hope we see the BA Weldwerks collab next week too. It came out of barrels three months ago.

Having that beer as a package makes no sense to me. It was available over a month last time they sold it and had no limit.

Ya. Just seems like a cash grab but oh well. I’d buy a case of CSV by itself, but with it being packaged, I’ll likely just pass. I don’t blame them for trying to get all they can though, especially given that proxies are allowed. I’m sure it will sell out. Just made me wonder if they made a bunch less this time or something since it sat so long last time.

 

I miss $15 CSV.

I've been firmly on the "make whatever money you need to right now" train with pricing and previous packages, but I agree it's a pass on CSV as part of that bundle. Hopefully they uncouple it at some point if sales are sluggish.

 

Yeah I’m not positive but I thought the first drop was $15 for both variants. Either way, I gotta pass on that bundle.

 

I wouldn’t call it a cash grab. This has been stated before, but I’ll say it again. They rely on in person sales for the majority of their less sought after bottles. When people (especially out of towners) came to drink at the Cellar or brewery, they often left with whatever was available at the time. During these online only times, it’s tougher to move those types of bottles. It makes sense to attach them as packages to the beers that are seen as more desirable. I get that not everyone wants the extras, but I understand why they’re doing it this way.

 

I'm pretty sure the last batch of CSV was enormous, 2 or 3 times what a regular batch had been in the past.. If this batch is back to normal size, it makes more sense to package it with another bottle.

 

Do people think the packages will stop when in person sales resume? I kinda think the packages are here to stay.
