Okay - I have always enjoyed your posts, but now you have my respect.
My Egg cranked out some kick ass chicken thighs last night, and since Jewel had Pork Butts for $.88/lb, I'm smoking 3 on Sunday with different rubs: cajun, mexican, standard. Pairs well with Fistmas (or any other Rev beer).
Just follow the smell to Oswego...

But the pork butts from Jewel were the Hormel brand. (I did not say *****, Mel)

You'll love my pulled pork after I rub the meat and smoke it. (okay, now stop it!)

 

Yeah. That's what was mentioned off hand on the last Zoom tasting. I've also been checking TTB every few days to see if a label gets approved.

 

DBVSOD is fantastic. Big dark fruit streak through the middle of it that I didn’t expect. Very complex, very enjoyable, and like others have said, probably the smoothest 17% ever.
