I got one of everything except the molasses and banana cream pie. Too much going on in those two.

The nice thing about the banana cream pie is that you'll hear if it's awesome and bottles will still be available!

So can I be confident I can just walk up Sunday when I get into BK and grab SB5? I feel like yes with the 6pp limit and everything else being gone already. I saw they said they are holding orders through the weekend, but it just seems easier to roll up grab it and get a 4 pack than holding an order I place today just in case something prevents me from actually making it.

My bet is that if you don't pick it up, they refund your money?

Yeah, I assumed that is the case as well, I would hope so at least.

Managed to get a bottle of Snowbirds 3, which apparently sold out in about thirty seconds. I would have liked to also get the barrel-only SB4, but I wasn't confident enough to add multiple items, afraid the extra five seconds was going to make all the difference and I'd end up with nothing. I'm not very experienced with these crazy fast sellout releases.

I had the same exact thought process. My plan was to only add the BA stouts to the cart and then do another order for SB5s. But, I decided to risk it. I managed to check out all 6 bottles before even 9:01am hit.

Hah! I was the same way, except for I accidentally chose the wrong SB 4. Noticed at check-out and just said screw it because I didn‘t want to lose SB 3.

I hesitated 30 seconds to double-check I hadn't over allotted anything in my cart. Disaster. Assumed my cart was guaranteed. Square n00b.

Anybody crack open a Snowbirds want to furnish some early feedback? I'm making room for the incoming stout bottles and opened my Double Sunset (Ethiopian). I can confirm it is primarily a sweet stout, but like the Choose One I had, it's got a powerful roasted coffee bitterness that helps balance things out in the finish.

Snowbirds 5 is very sweet according to Untappd. Haven't cracked mine yet

Shared the vanilla wafer one today; it tasted as labeled, I got sweet and vanilla and vanilla wafers for sure. Fun to try but would have been hard if I wasn't sharing it, and I think the sweetness may have been too much for many people...given you appreciate balance this one may not be for you!

Drinking one now. It really makes me miss the days of 4oz pours in the taprooms. I knew it was going to be syrupy sweet yet here I am.

@NewmansOwn I've had this crazy idea that when the taproom reopens I'll order one 4oz pour for every month they were closed and just surround myself with the glasses for an epic family portrait. I don't care if the price per ounce doesn't make sense, I used to live and die by those...mostly to avoid the regret of overbuying a hype beer, but also because sometimes I'd just walk my dog to the taproom to pickup cans or bottles and wanted to have a little something.

A 12oz pour of an IPA and a 4oz pour of a stout was always my go-to.

Sweet, but still way better than about 90% of OH stouts. Only tried the regular SB5 not that wafer one

Hi all, been a while since I hit up Other Half and figured the time is right now. There are a ton of options on the page, but some may be older. Not a big deal but was hoping for fresher stuff, any way to see how old stuff is?

I tried cross referencing with their Instagram page, but couldn't even find some beers like Eternal Daydream or Tipping the Scales, but maybe I'm missing something.

    Thanks all!

Tipping the Scales came out a few weeks ago and has been floating on the site since. I actually enjoyed this 10%er and rarely dip my toes in the high ABV but it was very drinkable. However if you're looking for freshest that ain't it.
