    About a month ago, I issued a challenge to my partner: a geek cook-off challenge (she loves cooking shows, and I tend to watch along, I admit). On one day, she would make a full, multi-course meal from an unofficial Harry Potter-themed cookbook (no butter beer, because they didn't want to be sued). On another day, I would make a full, multi-course meal from the Official Elder Scrolls Cookbook (focusing on Skyrim, naturally).

    Today is my day.

    First course: bread. I have never made bread before, of any kind. So, why not wheat beer bread? What could possibly go wrong?

    Happy Saturday - busy and productive morning so far.....walked my pup at 7:45 at Firestone MP, did some cleaning and laundry and just put a veggie quiche in the oven for lunch.....pup has crashed.....2018 Xocoveza is pretty tasty

    Bottled 10/15/20. Poured at 57°. Chocolate Fudge Maple Bourbon ooh laa la what a fine beer!

    Jr. Z signed a lease on a studio apt. this week and he is excited about his new space and living on his own again. He is at our storage unit this morning looking at rugs and art; Mrs. Z is in the bed sleeping with the dogs...me? I’m enjoying another quiet morning with a world class beer...Saturday salutations y’all!

    Wings and beer for breakfast, I love it. Somewhat weak on the mild heat though, only eat Atomic or Suicide.

    Good afternoon, BAs! @thisischuck01 just hit me with a crushing box of Other Half hops which I’ll be drinking through the next few weeks. Had to start with this one though, for reasons that are likely obvious.

    The massive hopping this beer received almost completely hides the 10.5%. And unlike most OH tipa’s, there’s barely any sweetness. This is a mighty, mighty good brew. Thanks again Charles!
