Good day BAs! Today's New Breakfast Beer, and the last of my grab from Jack's Abby in my (fairly) recent run to Shangy's:



Ho-hum. Another chili beer.

 

Liked this one so much I called the shop last night and am having them hold me back a couple 4-packs of sours and that fruited triple milkshake. Tripping Animals is doing crazy things

 

Noticing more CDL’s in our area and I’m loving it! Dovetail does it again!

 

No mega treat was my favorite this year from tree house. Super treat comes in second with juice project coming in third

I’m continuing my tour through my Tree House one off case
Hold On To Sunshine
A sweet coffee milk stout with chocolate and peanut butter. 7.6 abv



Pours dark brown with a 1 inch foamy head into a tulip style glass at around 50 degrees
Aroma is roasted coffee a hint of peanut butter and a hint of chocolate
Taste is roasted malt and coffee forward with a peanut butter note finish that I liked a lot
Mouthfeel is full, low carbonation and pretty chewy. Slight tingle and then a fairly smooth finish. All the flavors come out
Overall it is a very smooth drinking stout, a bit sweet but not sickening. Kind of a low abv but it’s very full and filling. I liked it.

Beer #2. Moved outside since this is a seriously amazing December Sunday.

 

Crema Paraiso is a Fruited Sour conditioned on Banana, Strawberry, Cacao Nibs, Vanilla, Marshmallow, and Milk Sugar.
This beer inspired by the famous Ice Cream, Milkshake and Burger place called "Crema Paraiso" located in Caracas, Venezuela

Some more Breakside Starstruck IPA. It's a weird new Talus hop west coast IPA.
I'm still trying to make sense of it, but it's decent enough.
