Is 7 Swans only available to HS or am I blind? I only see BBA 8 Maids.

Also, did 2TD through 6 Geese (BA or non-BA) go missing for anyone else? I thought I was going to have the option to purchase them through the 31st since thats what it says on the site..

I'd say wait for the morning. They left allocation page but are still on regular store page. I'm assuming the Bruery Team is still just getting used to the new website... and/or they might be refreshing Christmas allocations.

Good eye! We actually discovered on Friday that allocations will only show a max of 50 beers. This is the firs time we've bumped up against that limit. While we work on a fix to display more, we've removed some of the beers to make room for new ones. You can still buy these beers, but you have to use the site search to find them; once on the product page you can purchase.

Sorry about the inconvenience, but we'll get it sorted out.

Interesting that they didn’t put “displaying sour notes” or whatever the verbiage was previously for 6 Geese this time around.

Nope. Now I’m starting to worry they will sell out of Chocolate Reign before they can fix my order.

I’m noticing that the fulfillment center seems to be a LOT SLOWER with e-mail turnaround lately. Just six months ago, they wouldn’t make you wait more than a day... but now it seems like it takes much longer, if you even get a reply. I had two crowlers missing from my most recent order, totaling almost $60. I emailed them a couple of days ago, and nothing so far. I’ll cut some slack because of The Rona, but still, it sounds like this might become an issue.

Yep, it’s been 5 days since my email. I’ll be really bummed if they can’t get me my Chocolate Reign bottles, I ordered them the second the sale went live haha. But now that I think of it their inventory should show 2 extra bottles of Reign and 2 less bottles of Rain so hopefully that won’t happen.

Before or after opening? I had my bottle in the fridge 4-5 months before opening it and it seemed fine to me. But I didn't get a chance to taste it fresh to compare. The biggest fear is that the strawberry is going to fade quickly. I would guess try and get to it within a year of bottling. And I emphasize "guess". Because I don't think anyone knows. Sour J openly recommended drinking it fresh. Plus that's a subjective question as some people might prefer a little less Strawberry.

If you're referring to after it's opened, I drank mine over two nights. As with most Bruery beers, it was fine the next day. There are a handful that seem to get better after opening. I'd say Furst was probably 85% on the second day and might have made it to day 3.

If shipping wasnt such a ************* I would grab one and dump it into a 2.5gal keg and put it on tap in my keezer. Would be good for a long time, then. Though I'd kill it quickly regardless if I had that on tap for sips whenever I wanted...

PS: Just cracked the GR '20 and it's fucking tremendous. Ordering more...

Finally trying the Port BT from the Virtual Box. Super good. Such rich flavor and then the soft carbonation stops it from getting too cloying. I any of these boxes are left and pop up in the sale I think I'd go for another. Final ranking: Vanilla is #1, then Port, then Maple.

On the one hand, my take was also along the lines of fucking tremendous for GR20. On the other hand, it's kind of just regular BT taken to a particularly good extension (as opposed to exploring non-whisky barrel, adjunct, etc). So at the price point I'm kinda like, is it enough better and more interesting to buy more? And I settled on "no" - I'd rather put my Bruery money elsewhere for the value.

For example, part of me is very tempted to order a second Hoarder Box... the only thing is I want to try at least a couple of the beers in there first. Mine shipped on the 9th and I thought I'd be quite a ways through it by now... but GSO still has it in some kind of weird limbo. I tried calling today and gave up after spending an hour on hold. I think something in the address was messed up, and I bet they are trying to call/email The Bruery for clarification... except as noted here it sounds like the Society Help Desk folks have all been pulled off for other duties (or heaven forbid they're all sick, which I hope is not the case). @SaisonSteve any update would be appreciated - I don't think myself and others here mind being patient, it's just the dead silence that's irking us.
