    Good Monday Morning BA

    odd that I start this off. Up at 5am like clockwork every single day without the alarm. Please mind the incense ash on the table top. Looks gross haha. Here goes.

    Brotherton Brewing- Liquid Smile

    6.2% NeIPA made in Shamong NJ (middle of the woods literally) hop bill includes Simcoe, Columbus and Monteuka.

    Orange cream. Vanilla. Creamsicle. Cotton candy. Circus peanuts. Pizza dough. Medium thick. Carbonation is 3/10. Stick yet juicy. Sweetness throughout. Mimosa like. If Prosecco and orangina had ale yeast and frothed Milk
    No lactose in this. Simcoe Columbus shine. Monteuka is subtle. 30% dank. 70% sweet orange

    to be real. I don’t think the style is for me. I’m missing IBUs and this is if I had to guess 20 IBU? If that. No hate. Just probably not my thing but is still well done and great for those who seek this. I would still absolutely recommend this also

    I kind of remember Brotherton in 2014 doing the hazy thing selling kegs on the shore. Glad to see the cans and distribution. Cheers all have a nice day.

    Have a good Monday. It is my weekend now. I went over my gf house yesterday and stayed until just after 8PM. I went to work on about 2-3hours of sleep, but I took some pack of Energy Now herbal energy pills when I got to work. Worked amazingly from what I could tell. No caffeine in them either, but the guarana and green tea extract probably help. I fell asleep on my gf through the whole Robin Hood Men in tights movie, then drove home and tried to get another short nap in but ended up being 20 min late, but still finished the morning at 7AM with over 8.5 hours. Going to relax and play video games this time off. My gf got a new job last week so our together time is much more restricted. Also she has a final exam to study for today on her second day off.

    Warm 72° and rainy this morning...finishing off last night’s bottle - Westbrook’s “Mexican Cake”:

    Bottled 5/14/20. Poured at 54 degrees. Chocolate cinnamon and hot habanero peppers that tingle the tongue. Looks like a stay indoors kinda day. Have a marvy Monday y’all, and Cheers!

    Never had Revolution Anti Hero out of a can (or bottle) before, always on draft. Glad I had my first go via their League of Hero's Variety pack, which will be a future purchase staple for me.

    Yet another beautiful December day in Chicago. I will keep posting this, hoping me doing so holds off Winter and snow for as long as possible, since I cannot flee West this Winter to avoid it. Dreaming of a return to normal in the interim.



    Catching up on threads, haven't seen a Tarantino film between Kill Bill Volume 2 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but I disagree with the critics of Kill Bill and Jackie Brown. Reservoir Dogs is my favorite film he directed, True Romance the best he has written. Destiny Turns on the Radio is the only film he was involved with (actor) that I didn't like.
