    Good day advocates!

I believe that I skipped two days participating in this thread this week including yesterday. This can’t last. Back with the more than great Rochefort 8 for lunch as usual.

Life has been a bit better Covid wise as the lockdown was eased earlier this week. Bars and restaurants remains closed until at least late January and unfortunately for some of them that’s a death sentence...

    Santé!

    More French music...

Good morning BA. Thanks Shanex for the early thread and whoever helped me with my email issues here yesterday.

Hopefully everyone is safe during that winter blast last night. Took me an hour to drive 2 miles from work, fish tailing the whole way. My truck didn’t make it up the hill at the end of my street and took 4 guys to push it out of the snow. I’m thankful. Also dug out an elderly man stuck sideways.

Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale. 4.6% ABV.

This is by far, my favorite beer of all time. I go back to it weekly. It truly is the best. Those who don’t know, should. A hidden gem. And the second pours out these stovetops create that marshmallow head :scream: pour with vigor

You see the color is a lot lighter than a traditional pale ale. The head of the beer is pillowy and lush. Usually reserved for resinous IPA but lives in this beer as well. The balance of herbal lemon, doughy malts and a bitter back end do everything for me. So crispy and so clean.

Best way to describe is if you took an over abundance of Simcoe and stuck it in a Kolsch to the point of just bordering under a session IPA, you get this pale ale. I love it. Cheers.

Followed by the best black metal song I’ve ever heard in my life.

    peace.

Cheers, I need t motivate myself with a OGL from Cherry Street to get my morning going. I have a whole lot of pain in my neck I don't know if I slept wrong or what. Hopefully feel better after a shower.

    Cheers all

I had a group of friends and my brother who didn't know a word of French and played it for hundreds of hours of the years in high school. I didn't see the appeal. I mean it sounded fine but I'd like to know lyrics in my language if possible.

Hello everyone and have a nice lunch!
I'm here at the Queen Makeda Grand Pub (a stone's throw from the colosseum) with my Club sandwich of grilled chicken, bacon, homemade mayonnaise, tomato and coleslaw salad (cabbage and carrots).
I added caramelized Tropea red onions as a side dish ........ to lighten everything.
I accompany all this with a good one

Birrificio dell' Eremo (ITA) - ZOE - Keller Pils (5.2%)

Modern version of a Kellerpils (Bavarian style), characterized by the dry hopping of the noble Saaz hops.
Light golden color, extremely clean and transparent.
Soft and abundant foam that does not fade.
Already on the nose herbaceous hints that suggest a more intense use of hops than a classic one
    Kellerpils.
In the mouth we find the herbaceous otes that precede a very pleasant taste of bread crust and ai bread cereals.
Very smooth and very light body.
Quite dry finish that gives a stronger bitter sensation than the classic style.
Perfect to accompany a large variety of dishes.

Make up your mind fellas :grinning: first I’m asked by someone to post more French tunes instead of Aerosmith, or the likes I often post here and then uh, duh we don’t understand French here. :grinning:

Okay the lyrics of this song is essentially about love, social circle, friends and relationships.

    Good day Georgia and Atlanta!

What the Hell? it's not like I'm going anywhere today. Shy of 3' and still coming down, 2nd highest single-storm snowfall on record.

Have a good Thursday. I just got off after 9.33 hours of work. I went in an hour early unknowingly, then the supervisor said she'd just go home. I told the GM and she wasn't happy about it, but not my fault anyhow lol. I did 2 hours of drive Thru, and then we deep cleaned the whole store. A corporate inspector is coming by today, and they don't want to fail it. Someone randomly tipped me $6 in drive thru, we aren't supposed to, but everyone else also does it. So kind of an unspoken agreement, just do it inconspicuously lol. Cameras in the whole place and all. I did 2 dugout one hitters in the car during my mid smoke break and it was nice. A lot of tedious work was required, so it helped. Even my coworker had a J lol. One of my other coworkers is getting some more today. Both of my cats are bothering me as usual.

Still tasting great. A bit more sweet on the pineapple, and the matcha tea is interesting.

Still coming down here. I probably wont have a brew until I finish shoveling and snowblowing. Which is in question because I somehow tweaked my back. Its in a weird spot too- upper back by the left shoulder blade... catch up later.

NOT a recycled pic, if you're wondering.
Was going to reach for a Stout, but my hand got drawn to this ORB Simcoe solo hop hazy again.
It's darn good - maybe the best single hop beer I've had. That's saying something, I think.
Cheers! Have a great day... even if yours is filled with snow. Some great pics already...

I see my old stomping grounds got hit with a significant amount of snow. Pretty to look at, but I can't say I miss it.
    Be safe out there!
