Half Acre (2020)

So hypothetically you could get 4 cans of Xtra now. They can’t have a ton available so I’m not sure this will undo the butthurt of the initial release (for some anyways)

 

If they don't force me to buy truffles and a glass I want no part of this. It obviously is not a 2020 Benthic release.

 

They just edited the post, I assume for clarity.

-1x 4-pack benthic
-1x 2-pack benthic + 1x 2-pack of benthic variant
-2x 2-pack of each variant or two of the same

 

Yeah, that's what I expected. Their original post looked like there were some 6 can packages, which I figured was a mistake.

 

See? Take it off OZNR and require us to rack our brains and we are at a total loss

 

Please do not insult Half Acre associating them with lowly Oznr.

History tells that Tock was far superior, easier to navigate, and transactions were no issue.

(I am happy they are going back to the web store though either way).

 

Personal power rankings:

Benthic > Vanilla Benthic > Xtra Dubl Benthic

However, all were excellent.

(I still can't bring myself to open Old Ben or Cherry Brandy Benthic)

Anyone remember the Half Acre riddles back in the day that led to a hidden token you could exchange for beer?

 

Benthic Schmenthic. The new truth is Galaxy Double Daisy Cutter, the new brewery-only release that came out yesterday. Might be the best Chicago IPA I've had all year. Glad I dragged two cases home to divvy up with friends!

 

For me, that honor went to the Riwaka variant. So I hope this is as good!

 

Riwaka was spectacular. I hope HA brews it again.

 

Xtradubl and Vanilla didn’t last long at Balmoral...

 

Still available at Lincoln as of 2 mins ago, glad I was paying attention and was able to get some. Went live early

 

Looks like it actually is all gone now including regular

 

Did it go live 9am EST or CST? Vanilla was last to populate but placed a separate order.

 

Had to click the "accept marketing link" after clicking place order a few times, available pick up changed each time from Friday mid evening until Saturday late evening. Will be stopping by Sunday I guess at this point. Glad I was able to get through, Vanilla, Double and three Keeping Together bottles.
