Would M10/M Toasted Rye be enough for a KBBS? Or would it need a +1 ? If so how steep for the + OWA, SW uncut, Blantons? Or something a little more ?

With M10 as a base, how strong would my plus have to be for KBBS ?
    m Toasted Rye
    MWND
    OWA
    Blantons
    EC 18

    Or something way beyond that?

Just confirming, is the M10 bourbon or rye? The Rye is usually the more desirable of the two

I have the toasted rye and m10 bourbon. Just looking for an idea of what kbbs is going fetch. I’m looking for my buddys 30th. Not a fan of stouts at all, so I’m pretty much clueless on what a fair offer would be.

M10 bourbon with toasted rye as the second bottle would be a very solid offer for KBBS. That should get it done. EC18 as the second bottle might be enough too, but the other options would likely be short.

@Onerandombeer and @NJ908Jimmy should chat. The guidance from @sjguglielmo is pretty solid for the KBBS. I think the addition of a blanton's should cover the Kaiju but that's open to interpretation.

How close would I be to landing ABH with:
    Term-Oil S'mores + a Trillium bottle?

The value should be there 1:1 with S'mores but I've seen that same offer a few times not get any interest at all. So who knows

With BCS prop 18 vs 19, I’d say 1:1 or can always add a nice + to get more interest. Just depends on what adjuncts you prefer imo.

    cheers

    Hi Supermario79,

I'm familiar with BCS quite a bit and just voicing my opinion with regards to those. I'm no pro to every beer out there by any means. I just know ones that I've traded with or for. I lived in CA and moved to Chicago fairly recently and wanted to get up to speed on local "whales." I was not familiar with the "whales" in my area and was asking for advice yesterday regarding what ones to look out for and which ones you folks are interested in. The community assisted and I am grateful. I'm just trying to be apart of the community and give input when I know a fair answer.

I'm also apart of a large Bourbon community in Chicagoland and have ample amounts of knowledge regarding most Bourbons out there, I also worked in the industry as well. If you or anyone have any questions regarding Bourbons feel free to reach out and I most likely can answer it.

Supermario79, I hope my answer is sufficient and welcomed in this community. If not, I will gladly leave and not post on here if you feel my advise is not welcomed.

Not saying your advice isn't welcomed at all. Just seemed unusual that you replied to a post that was almost a year old. And yes this community is very helpful and almost always willing to give helpful advice. And to that point all these people giving you helpful advice about your thread. It just seems like if you were being genuine you would have responded to something more recent. This is just my opinion and everyone has one. If I'm off base, well I guess my bad. Anyways good luck.

Ah wow! I didn't realize this post was from a year ago, my mistake. (I'm fairly new to the forum and this trade group.) Also, to be completely transparent; I'm usually indulging in an adult beverage or legal cannabis when I'm on here to be fair. I will take note to look at the dates posted. No hard feelings, I just felt the need to explain.

    Have a good afternoon,
    Cheers

I just want to agree with @Flatlander, as far as I know we are usually enjoying very childish beverages like Super Pop Double Sour Guava-Papaya-Mango Smoothie Sours out of a $675 custom hand blown glass shaped like a sippy cup.

Otherwise, you seem like you got the spirit and will be a welcome member of the community.

Also, since you mentioned it, please.feel welcome.to share.opinions and experiences, as well as questions, over at this thread
