What beer are you drinking now? #2987

Good morning everyone! Going to pull out a few special beers over the next two days. Starting today following yonder star, Revolution Brewing's to be exact with this three year old Deth's Tar.



Looks, smells and the first few sips taste great. A fuller treatment can be found in the Cellar Review thread, as I savor this for a bit while it's still dar. Hope you are all able to grab a great beer or two today, and enjoy another great day to be alive!

an absolute classic and world class beer. Forgot how good this is. I drink “accidentally” PA and NJ beers almost always so I pass this up a lot. Needed something LARGE. Not much has to be said. Dark Cocoa. Dark fruit. Deep caramel. Warming ABV. Have a safe day all.

Have a good Xmas eve, just did a third shift, doing another one tonight for triple pay. My gf is supposed to be off for 5 days now, so I am going to try and get her to come over again. Usual work night with end of the morning in the beer cooler restocking. I love the coffee there now. I got a x large harvest spice bean with cold vanilla creamer, then a columbian dark roast with cold vanilla again. I drank both over the course of 1 hour at 4AM. No sugar needed. I usually drink black, but cream only is killer too.

Funny you say that, I’ve been watching Hjem Til Jul (Home for Christmas) on Netflix, and I was baffled why the characters were making such a big deal about Xmas Eve dinner, but couldn’t give 2 shits about Christmas Day. I believe it’s set in Norway? Somewhere up in your reindeer land at least.

Anyway, I’m also forced to spend these holidays away from any family, so will be joining you shortly with the first of many brews I’ve socked away for today!

Canned 11/11/20. Poured at 58 degrees. Tart cherries, burnt brown sugar, dark chocolate. A little bourbon and oak as beer continues to warm. Always good stuff from Revolution - thanks Chris! And happy Christmas eve, y’all!
