Ha! I wish, New Glarus is only sold in Wisconsin. I have to cross the border to get it, just like everyone else.

I'm not selling New Glarus, though I certainly wish I could. :sunglasses:

Why such a restricted area, if it hit Chicago they could sell as much as they can brew. But maybe they’re run like Russian River, Vinnys making all he cares to make, I can appreciate that.

I used to work with a guy named Richard Bonesteel. Years before that I managed a store owned by Richard Hertz. First time we had a manager's meeting he told us "ok let's get this out of the way first, I've already heard all the Dick Hurts jokes before", lol.

They wanted to focus on WI (and dominate the market) which they've done masterfully.

I bet, if I had only one brewery to buy from they’d be it, great beers in many styles. Their fruited sours are first rate, as is their Thumbprint Series of beers.

There was a bar in St. Paul (IIRC) who tried smuggling it across the river -- got in BIG trouble!

There was a point in time that they couldn't keep up demand for Spotted Cow in Wisc., so they sent their trucks to clear out the stores in Illinois and bring it home. Loyal to their constituents. Carys for senate!

I recall reading about that, if memory serves it was a few years ago?

Maple Grove, 2015. It's in the NG Wiki page under the "distribution" section.

If I remember right, the bar owner even had NG tap handles in place! Bold.

This was the early 70s. It was Gallo Hearty Burgundy which as I've since learned had a good deal of old vine Zinfandel as a component piece. It wasn't bad at all!

Gall stones are bad too. More a dull ache from the gall bladder than the sharp stabbing pain from a kidney stone. But, the gallstones made me sick everyday for almost two years before I had the gallbladder removed. My renowned specialist misdiagnosed. :grimacing:
