Good Morning @Shanex and our recent addition to the early morning club, @dcotom . Nice beers (Blonde and Stout) to pick out for the early morning. I never had the La Trappe Blonde before, but really loved their two Quads (standard and Oak Aged) so need to hunt the beer down here soon.

This is a new beer for me, cross posting with the New Beer Weekend / New Beer Sunday #826 thread. I've had variants of this, but never the base beer so I am rectifying that while keeping my Chicago brewery streak going.

Some more Burlington Brewing Company not sure what Ancient Grains are, but the NEIPA at 6% is pretty darn tasty and juicy. Cheers all.

 

Starting the day off with a Toppling Goliath Hopsmack. Man is this stuff good. Nothing mind blowing but such a high quality, delicious brew.

Have a good Sunday. Finished up another shift at 630AM. Had a better emotional day than yesterday, what with not having a Christmas, basically. I slept all afternoon and woke up at 9PM last night. I had my sister's cooking reheated for my actual holiday dinner and it was great. Had my usual 2-3 24 ounce coffees through the night. Brought my CBD vape for once, I need to get more flavors soon.



Also found a treasure trove of cat toys behind the stove.


Just got done with a 55 minute phone call with my gf over skype. She is coming over around 4 or 5, so it's going to be amazing. I still have to work tonight at 11, but she will stay over 2 nights again.

Amazing as always. I need to get another 6 pack. I think these spiegelau glasses will definitely be my most used glasses now! I should have opened them sooner. Had them for over a year in a closet in my apartment.

Went to bed early, and slept in this morning...a chilly (for SWFL) 44° walk with the dogs this am...usual morning chores done, and now turning to a BBA Quad-style from Taxman Brewing Co., Bargersville, IN - “Bourbon Barrel Qualified”:



I like! The BB notes compliment the caramel malt and fruity flavors. Working on notes for NBW ...

I met 3 of my bottle share regulars yesterday, and we did a social distanced share; I sampled 20 beers, most new to me. I’ll try to put together a collage of a few highlights for a later post today (when I’ve got a right proper Now beer in my glass )...we shall see... Cheers and have a great Sunday y’all!
