I asked to be on the wait list back in 2014 and still don't have a membership in my name. Figures people like this somehow made it though.

 

Same here, it's been 6 years so not expecting anything.
I've seen a few people get in who don't live in 831 in the last couple years (don't think they were on the waitlist) so it doesn't look good if you're not a schmoozer.

From today's club email in case anyone's curious:

Although your first Spring shipment has yet to be finalized, we have been working on a blueberry beer, a Kriek, Shadow of a Doubt aged in Port barrels (super limited), and an amazing Peach beer that smells and tastes like you are biting into a fresh peach right off the tree. These are just a few fun examples of what may be included in your first shipment.

 

Friggin Russian river would hit it with the elegant Italian bottles. I don't think I'll ever make it but I hope.my kids at least grow up to be elegant California people

 

Yea those couple emails were cringe. Now someone emailed everyone trying to sell wine. Wtf is wrong with people? Not cool.

 

Yeah got that wine email too. That may be worthy of being kicked out of the membership in my opinion (using all the member's emails for "mass marketing" like that).

I'm not on the emails or part of the club, but you would think RR would BCC members as opposed to putting everyone's email out there for all to see (and solicit to).

I hope others also told him to fuck off and quit spamming members. I don't know if RR will do anything, but I really didn't appreciate his email. The cringe email was at least somewhat relevant to the club and not a direct solicitation.
