Barrel Aged

I don't really see a significant volume of either incorrectly added or incorrectly reviewed barrel aged beers as non-barrel aged beers.

If I ever do see one, I report it. It usually already has an entry, so it's reported as a duplicate in that case. Or else a user didn't fully enter the entire beer's name as listed on the label, in which case it's reported as an edit to the name.

If a user reviews the wrong beer and I happen upon it, I usually PM that person so they can delete it and put it in the right place. If they never make note in their review as to whether or not they are having the barrel aged version, there's no way to know either way, but they're also most likely a poor reviewer in the first place. It's a negligible to nil population of people who can't figure out which beer to review--I have plenty of faith in the BAs who actually take the time to write full reviews to not be that stupid.

The direction this discussion has gone is no longer regarding a style issue, but moreso user error.
