According to their Instagram if you buy a case of four packs they give you a seventh free. Anyone know how long this will last? I’m hoping it will still be going on Sunday when I can get over there.

Looking to expand and include some more lagers in 2021. Taking a ride to Notch this weekend. Looking forward to trying Desitka.

They switched distributors in Massachusetts and their selection in stores has improved greatly. Since mid December I have been able to bring in their zwickel, Salem lager, biersel dunkel rauchbier, and cerne pivo into my store along with their normally available 12oz offerings. All have been canned within a week of their initial drop. It’s great having the option to grab a four pack on my way home.

I’ve become such a huge fan of the session pils. Anytime I see that beer fresh, I buy it. 6-12 cans in the fridge is a bare minimum at all times. I still feel like a novice when it comes to tasting notes, but this tastes to me like Desitkas younger brother. I get a very similar flavor profile just less... refined?

Picked up a mixed case last weekend.

The latest version of Here Comes a Regular is a big improvement from the original, in my opinion. I kind of liked the original, but thought the floral, almost tea-like, hop profile dominated. Even with the marginal increase in abv, V2.0 has a lot more balance and depth.

I'm a sucker for a Nelson-forward beers. With that said, Lonesome Road is my favorite hop-forward offering from Notch in recent memory. I'd love the beer if it was dominated by the typical white wine Nelson profile, but the red berry/red fruit notes from the Barber Rouge add some complexity and act as a good complement. Can't recall having a beer with Barber Rouge before, but I'll be keeping an eye out now.

I didn't get a chance to pick up Tmavy last year, but it may now be my favorite Notch beer. Up there with Tenner and the Altbeir. Just so flavorful and well-balanced.

Can't wait to give Notch a try when we move up in February. The brewery is only about 7.5 miles away from our new place. I get the feeling their lagers will be in my fridge a lot.

Really enjoyed Desitka. Also finally got to try a new Roast Beef place Jamie's in Peabody and grabbed a few cans of fresh hops from Channel Marker in Beverly.

I just did as well. I hope they send us some of the limited cool stuff. As much as I would love to visit them, Salem is a long way for me, especially in the Pandemic. Notch, Yo! please send this Lager Lover in Central MA some of your Standard ( wink wink) stuff. Whatever you do, please don't put a NEIPA in the subscription pack!

I imagine those who are committing to a subscription are lager lovers first and foremost, so a New England IPA wouldn't really cater to that audience.

Oh don’t get me wrong. I’m drinking a Heady Topper right now (not EXACTLY a New England IPA). And I just picked up some Idle Hands Six Seam and also picked up Notch’s Dog and Pony Show along with their new Northern German Pils.
