Another new beer, as always TG kills it with IPAs. I could literally just drink TG IPAs from now on and probably be pretty happy drinking beer

 

So it is a gloomy Friday and this after we are hanging with John VonKadich and Amy Carson VonKadich and sipping this fruit smoothie from Kettlehead Brewing. A Berliner Weisse brewed with a 1000 pounds of fruit.

Pours a purplish pink with a half finger sticky pink head that leaves an abundance of lace, coating the entire glass. 4.75

Aroma raspberry, blackberry, ripe blueberry, hint of vanilla, and maybe a hint of apricot. 4.75

Taste follows all about the berries to quote John. Raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, apricot, and a little vanilla. Really tasty and not overly sour. 4.75

Overall I will say this is my favorite sour of all time, John would say that Deciduous Brewing Company has a few that could rival this. Really impressive. 4.75

Hoppy, citrusy, and not exactly watery...I’m getting used to this low cal/low abv beer which is a good thing given the expanding girth of my waist line the past several months, and my inclination to overindulge...I make no New Year’s resolutions typically, no exceptions this year, but I can see fewer drinking days, and adding lower abv brews into the mix, for 2021...omg, what am I saying? I must be drunk...

Aged Cheddar Souffle. Cheers and Happy New Year BA. Edit: Im always spouting about not adding anything to beers but just a touch of Four Roses into that stout.....hmm not too shabby.

 

Georgetown's Ale for ALS. Hazy IPA. Pretty nice.

Happy new year! Sitting on the couch watching some travel videos on YouTube with my wife dreaming of a vacation again someday! Having a Marlowe west coast pale ale.
