Fieldwork (2021)

Hoping to make it back to their Monterey location. Had a couple of really nice fly in & out day trips to Monterey hitting up Fieldworks & ASB for lunch before 2020 hit.

 

I still have cans of DDH Pulp that will not last much longer.

But yeah, looking forward to drinking more Fieldwork Beers in 2021 and expanding my palate to include more styles instead of just Hazy NE IPA's.

 

Anyone try the new Losers Club yet? That's usually one of my favorite series of theirs.

 

had my last DDH Pulp on NYE, still have some Galaxy Sauce and Emperor Citra left. For me FW's best beer of last year was Viking's Lament which sold out super fast, still have one of my 2 cans left.

 

I drank both Galaxy Sauce and Emperor Citra today. Both tasted great. I’m hoping they release a barrel aged stout soon.

 

I wasn't crazy about Galaxy Sauce but Emperor Citra was excellent. Wish I bought more of that.

 

Bean Machine has been a highlight, hoping for that soon-ish too.

 

I missed out, and was stupid for doing so thinking this would not beat King Citra. Looks like I made a mistake on this, but now that I know better, if this gets a re-release, I will not repeat that mistake.

 

Has anyone tried Marion Dairy?

I ordered this and waiting for delivery, but this sounds so good and hoping it rises to ASB "Biggies" variants. It is also the most expensive at $24 of all the beers on Fieldworks website this week.

I love a good Kettle Sour.

 

If you like the modern WEST COAST.....

This one was real good. "Below the Hard Deck" DIPA. 9%, Mosaic, Simcoe & Dr Rudi hops.

 

Pulp is back. 8 cans will be here in 3-5 days.

If interested, go get yours. Much better then Hazy Train IMHO.

Don't forget MarionDairy. The reviews on untappd have me expecting a delicious sour to complete with ASB.

 

Picked up Sound Parade IPA. Serious juice up front, Orange and some pineapple. Citra, El Dorado and Strata hops.

 

I probably haven't had Hazy Train since 2019. Pretty good. Maybe...better then I remember. More depth. Mosaic and Amarillo comes out.

Had a few more Fieldwork this weekend. Real good.

If you like German Chocolate cake...they nailed it. Coconut comes out. Cocoanut Imperial Stout. 10% hidden well.

 

Loser Club Volume VII continues to evolve. Berkeley "Alexandre Trois" Yeast. Mosaic, Blanc and Amarillo hops. A bit of a hazy hybrid in texture, but Juice still comes big.

 

What's the story with that series? I haven't heard of it but I love funky yeast projects
