Time for a beer! Root and brach growing up absurd

 

I'm watching football while Wifey naps. And I'm drinking beer...this is as good as it gets. I'm having a Super Eight super gose from Dogfish Head. This is a quality brewery trying something new, so this is to be respected for that. But it's a miss. There are right berries/fruits here, plus salt. Everything just runs into everything else and all I can tell for sure is that it's a vaguely, unidentifiable berry beer. Well, they tried. And the Cowboys are losing, so it's still a great day.

 

I appreciate the sentiments, gentlemen. Rest assured that I have no plans to discontinue what has become a tradition for me. I obviously have a lot of fun with it. We still have a couple of days left before Epiphany, so keep drinking those Christmas beers, quads, Scotch ales, geuze, or whatever you have. Remember, it ain't over 'til the last drummer drums!

Hello all! Happy Sunday!

This beer checks so many boxes with a sweet and roasty malt bill combined with a hint of pine and a just detectable citrusy hop presence. This is an incredibly well balance black IPA, a style that is incredibly hard to get right!

Drinking LeisureSuit from Adventurous Brewing in Bettendorf, Iowa. This hazy American IPA is absolutely phenomenal. As is all the rest of their beers that I have had. It is an upstart brewery as working towards taphouse. This will be the best brewery in the Quad cities when the taphouse is built.
