I did finish off the year with my last can of Citra last night. Still enjoyable. Moving on to 2021 with the last couple cans of Winter Ale starting later today.

I still haven’t been able to find Winter DIPA. Not that I’ve looked to hard for it but last years was all over. A couple of stores says the issue was that they changed distributors. Both these stores are in LA County. What’s the deal? I really want this beer.

We are still distributed by Stone in LA. Due to relatively small pre-orders, we only made one batch of winter this year.

    Happy new year all!

And a fine batch too. Still have 2 of 12 cans left. Gave 3 away to friends/family. I really enjoyed Kerns beers in 2020. Especially seeing Class V making an appearance. Looking forward to 2021 from Kern.

Glad you enjoyed the beer. Cheers and Happy New Year!

Slated to come out in cans in February. Most likely not distributed down south, but available for online shipping, onsite and in Kern County.

Kern shakes my titties (I have some because I drink too much beer). I want more Citra and Class V to my dome. Thanks Eric.

Right on, been working on my beer bod too lately.

Citra will have its normal March release (along with Class X aged 2 years in Buffalo Trace Barrels).

Brewing a new batch of Class V today...

Lots of fun hoppy stuff in the next two months with There is Still Beauty being canned tomorrow (SDIBC IPA winner), Southern Passage (South African Hops), and others. Thanks for the support everybody.

    Cheers,
    Eric

When is shipping for your newest ipa Still Beauty Eric? And will Citra make distro this March? Class V?

Spotted some Winter DIPA at Whole Foods today. Picked up a 4 pack. Glad to have found some. Might be my favorite from KRBC. Sad that there was only one batch this year. Looking forward to drinking it.

Ship on Tuesday for Wednesday delivery, so Still Beauty would be a week out of the brite tank when folks get it.

Citra will be available in distro and by mail order in March. I don't think Class V will make so cal distro again this winter/spring since the distributor took a pass on preorder.

Class X will be in 16 oz cans. That is assuming our first run of BA beer goes well on the canning line. This probably won't make greater distro and be pickup/mail/Kern County only.

For those seeking some more Class V stout it’s on their online store for shipping. I believe this batch will not make it to distro to SoCal this time around.

Saw them there also. But wasn’t there for CV. Didn’t bother to check the date. It could be from 1st can release. I believe the new batch is dated 1-26. Check them cans before you buy. I see it every time, especially at TW stores. Guys just grab whatever’s on the shelves. That’s why I usually don’t do TW and never step inside BevMo because they have a lot of inventory on shelves sitting for months. Only time I do buy i know they just got the cans in and I can’t find elsewhere.

Must say that at $16/4 pack the Igor unchained in quite a steal. Although a 15% RIS is not a daily drinker.

That’s why I passed on Igor. The price is very reasonable considering it’s a big 15%. It’s not BA. Holding out for Class X.

Southern Passage just hit OC/LA area. Damn that was quick. And good. A couple of 5 days old.

I concur. Southern Passage shakes my titties. This one is a juicy hop bomb! I know it’s fresh, but Instill wish Kern would can date. I skipped on Chuuuurch and JO because I don’t want to risk buying old beer.

I believe the SP was canned on the 4th. The latest canning for JO was the 6th? Their machine to stamp the cans was broke last time. So yeah let’s hope they fix it sooner than later. KRBC is definitely back to brewing good to great beers.
