Regular fridge temp and drink within 18 months tops unless you want the novelty of seeing how it “held up”.

 

That’s a good point and not something I considered. Still not sure if that’s going to cause a significant enough taste difference to make it worth the price hike. But maybe I just have a less refined sense of taste

 

It seems to be so very difficult to get a bottle from these releases with the current proxy situation. I would actually prefer to plan a trip to St Louis when we can be regular humans again and stand in line than miss out like this every time. I don't begrudge the local folks at all for not liking the current situation.

Looks like my vintage Fuzzy mag is worth $10 more then it did when it was released. Guess I’ll hold onto that bitch for another 5 years and really cash out in 2026.

Bought it at the old Perennial release days. Been a paper weight ever since.

 

Admittedly, I am one whom is very grateful for having a proxy, as driving 7.25 hours one way just isn't feasible for many reasons. This has given me the luxury of being able to try a lot from this wonderful brewery.

I can understand locals, or people that are closer that have made/want to make a trip to be able to get dibs on trying the stuff too. One day will come where proxys won't be a thing for SP, but it's very awesome that they have made that option available.

As far as the magnum thing, it's a fun novelty, but totally not worth it. I wonder how many breweries(US, & abroad) actually do that size these days? I'm guessing it's a bit more prevalent in Europe than here. I can't think of a single time I've had any beer, or any alcohol, from a magnum.

Fuzzy B2 out of a mag is the best fuzzy I’ve had, hands down. Cracked one my pool with buddies last summer and it was amazing. So much less acidic than small format bottle.

 

Tete v16 mag tasted exactly like the regular bottling which is

10/10 would recommend tete mag
