The only lawyer I have ever hired was when I got hit by a car on my bike, and had to sue the driver. PI lawyers and criminal lawyers catch hell, but are indispensable.

 

Second Modestman NEIPA of the night. Also very, very good. Mosaic and Galaxy. 7% ABV. Can't complain whatsoever.

Heard this song twice this week and that seems random

 

I remember we had a record album of Stan Musial in association with Phillips 66 Gasoline. It talked about baseball techniques. I haven't given much thought for baseball since 1960 something. Football was king in Texas. Now I have a fuck Jerry Jones and the NFL since 2000.

We’ve been seeing Zombie Dust in the Cleveland area for at least two years. It now sits on shelves at Giant Eagle.

Haha! Records. Though I held on to a few and increased the vinyl in recent years. I’m not sure what you can learn in many sports by listening to a record (“instruction” tracks listed on that site). I think of all the golf instruction I know from spoken word only comes through evoking other visual stimuli I’ve had over the years.

Anyhow, I got 60 Minutes to spare...


Must say I’m quite disappointed, @SamCalagione, in only having a sell by. Beer is tasting pretty good, though (I’m assuming 6 months).

Related: if you can’t give both canned/best by, and it’s a grander consumer preference for “expiration dates” - can’t we get to something like “best within X months, by MM/dd/yy”? I know that’s likely as hard as 2 dates, just bitching to the ether, here.

 

On my Friday Night Zoom with friends; cracked open a Cannon Blast from BrewDog, an American Pale Ale with many of the characteristics of an AIPA. Reminded me of this:

A friend from Spartanburg brought me some beers and I am trying Bell Ringer from RJRocker for the first time in a can

It says Double Pale Ale but BA lists it as a Strong Ale which seems more accurate given the strong malt character. Loosely similar to a hazy Celebration.

I am so old that there were still coal fired steam locomotives pulling trains through my town when I was a baby. One of them is rolling again after an epic fund raising and restoration saga.
