Maybe not best all time but I need to pay respect to Zion and Lonzo. I know the hype behind these dudes but it kind of was warranted.

    Really liking your theme today!

Even though I was always the last basketball cut in all of my school years! :grinning:

Ewing was my favorite NBA center as a kid. Ja Morant is a young player whose game I like in today's NBA. I saw plenty of Ewing in college; Ja, not so much. Cheers!

It was such a joy to have watched all of them (I edited my post to include Larry Bird). I was so happy that the Knicks drafted (Ewing)! Morant was more recent, took an underdog deep into the NCAAs. Must admit I have not watched him much in NBA, as I am a Bradley Beal fan.

Man...going back to a normal drinking schedule after a two week break filled with excess sure feels weird. Happy Saturday, BAs. Firestone Walker's Chocolate Cherry Stout is really nice.

Williams Bros Talking Head American Pale Ale. Light easy drinking APA it says here
Loving it. Enough of those citrusy hops to lift it but not so much as to distract. Think I shall have another when the Indian meal arrives.

Fear not I already have several toilet rolls in the fridge.

Bumping up the ABV for beer number three. Fuller’s Vintage Ale 2019. Wonderful beer as it has been since its inception.

Game is going more or less as expected, although Indy really should have taken the FG on that 4th down play. Josh Allen is a real handful and I pity the DB that has to tackle him one on one. Cheers. [IMG]

Have reviewed a couple of beers over a the NBW thread (head over there for more detail if you want). Both from Lost Forty Brewing in Little Rock, one of my favorite places to stop when I drive through that town.

First up is Bottle Conditioned Day Drinker. With Brett and Dry Hopped with Saaz. This is incredible, like a lighter version or Orval. Can't say how impressed I am with this one.

Next up is a collaboration they did with a brewery I'm not familiar with Hawk Moth. A Sirah wine barrel aged Biere de Garde with a mixed culture fermentation. Enjoyable, even if the vinegary wine character is a little too much and at odds for me. Something I like, but far from the masterpiece that Day Drinker is.

Burn ‘Em Scholastic Wook Club IPA (BRU-1, Southern Tropic, Lotus). This is a decent NEIPA by my local spot. Some interesting hop aromas and flavors coming off this one. Strawberry, guava, kiwi, and underripe pineapple to name a few.
