    I think this is my last of these which is kinda sad. One of my favorites all year last year. Kind of a snow globe at this point, but dayum. Still popping like it was 2 months ago.

    Art History Gravitace Czech Pale Lager. My sister and brother-in-law live near this brewery and I recently heard they were producing some of the best lager in the Chicagoland area. Naturally I asked for some of their lager for Christmas. Never had a Czech Pale Lager, but after doing some reading on the style and trying this one, I’m on board.
    This style is apparently described by some as a “session Pilsner”. This definitely has a significant hop presence bringing both bitterness and herbal, earthy, grassy hop notes to balance out the nice bready, slightly toasty malt. I wouldn’t call it a session pils, but more like a pils with a heftier malt.
