Controversial Beer Opinions (Round Two)

Well, that is a problem IMO.

 

I’ll add some I’ve heard at work since I work with beer.

Troegs does the absolute best IPAs on the east coast.

Lambic and geuze taste like stomach acid

fruited sours are not beer to an extent.

 

I spend good money to make my stomach acid lambic and geuze flavored!

Maybe it's just me, but "beer farts" is how my brain processes the phrase "beer fests" every time I see it in a thread or article title on here.

 

I want a 'dislike" button and I want to be able to hit it more than once without it simply reversing the previous time I hit it.

Alternatively, a dislike slide button would be nice, wherein the user would be able to express their dislike along a spectrum ranging from 'mild distaste' to 'this is why we don't keep guns in the house.'

I miss bombers. I liked being able to fill my pint glass, drink it half down and then top it off. You all bitched and complained about them until they went away and I resent you for it.

Those 22 ounce bottles of Fort Point and Summer Street from Trillium from back before they sucked were some of the best beers I’ve ever had. Some times I dream about them and wake up with a little erection.

 

Way back all of the Rogue beers were packaged in bombers. Having a few Shakespeare Stouts and Hazelnut Brown Ales would be nice. And that St. Rogue Red was a stark and transformative beer.

 

Yeah I wish they'd come back too. That way we can kill 'em again. Good riddance.

 

I'm not sure if it's controversial, but my opinion is that being associated with craft beer is kind of embarrassing now. It conjures images of dude's opining on how Brewery A makes the better beer because they actually roast the marshmallows before blending it with the pureed boysenberries, while brewery B not only doesn't toast their marshmallows at all, they use canned boysenberries. And I'm over here drinking Welly from Fox Farm and people are like, "Oh, you're really into beer" and I'm like, "Nah, not like that."
