Although it’s nonsense, still nice to see the HF thread take an early page count lead over the TH thread.

Anyone have any experience going to FoFA/Friendship and Exploration Festival? I'm wondering what kind of beers are typically there. I would love to tick Ann, Art, Samuel, Clover, etc. Thinking of trying to trade for tickets, but would love to first hear other people's experience.

I went to FoFA a couple years ago. They will likely have a large selection of Hill beers, some more rare than others, and might have guest breweries with various selections of their own. If you're there to tick whalez, you're going to have to wait in long lines, or have friends that linger near the front of lines and jump in when they start pouring.

In my opinion, that's not fun and not what it's about. I tried a bunch of different beers that didn't require long lines, tried a bunch of the food, shot the shit with people, then while everyone was in line for Clover, I stood by myself at the Elab 4 line, crushing pours.

Your motives may vary, but I had a blast without spending the entire festival standing in line.

Hill Farmstead's temporary closure will be the real economic stimulus for our family. My wife is stoked that I won't be making any trips to Greensboro for a while.

Hoping the HF Crew returns in the spring rested and rejuvenated!

Unless they have stated anything more recently, early to mid-April was their initial return to operations.

    Yeah, they said early-mid April

I cannot wait. Been savoring the last batch of Susan, and a few bottled ales / ipas.

Any estimate for timeline on partial reopening or full reopening for retail in person at the brewery?

Anyone have any inside information on what might be getting released when they open back up for curbside pickups?

How about your personal hopes/wishes? I'd love to see an Aaron drop. This has been the winter of BWs for me and I'd love to close the season with a bottle of Aaron

Most likely Damon, considering the Spring 2021 trajectory. Of course, that may have changed

Yeah, looks like a batch was released March 2018 and then another February 2020 (which was packaged late 2020). Nothing in 2019.

I haven’t dug deeper into my spreadsheet (nerd), but I’d imagine if I listed what was released in Feb-Mar-April over the last few years there might be some similarities to what’s forthcoming.

Hoping for a Madness and Civ or two with the pause having covered the most intense winter months...been a long time and those are always exceptional.

Probably due for one. #12 came out in the summer of ‘19 (June), #11 and #10 in January/February ‘18, respectively.
