Went to metro for the first time finally yesterday. What a great spot to have a beer! Definitely will be going back on a nice summer evening

For anyone who has been to Metro since things have eased up, how busy has it been on a weekend afternoon? Since they don't take reservations, how long are people typically waiting to get a table? I know how busy it was pre-pandemic, but haven't been since they added all of the outside tables. So just trying to gauge for a possible visit this weekend.

I love Metropolitan Brwg. What I need to know is if it is finally allowing people to sit at the U-shaped bar and plug in?
The two times I went to the brewery during this COVID-19 pandemic: First time, was directed outside (in not-so temperate temperatures); second time, was stuck at a table inside far away from any electric outlet.
Also - has Metropolitan joined the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild? I noticed its brewery name appearing on the ICBG's page heralding its 2021 Passport Plus program. (Conversely, Crystal Lake Brwg., winner of Craft Brewing Conference 2016 medals, did not appear.)

From my understanding, they are still only sitting a limited number of people at indoor tables (or at least I haven't seen anything different). With Chicago officially announcing today it will fully open up June 11, I would expect that to change to some extent. But who knows, as they have been admirably cautious to this point.

As of my stop in earlier this afternoon, it appears you can now sit at the bar. I was told that masks are not required as long as you’re vaccinated, and that staff may not wear them if they’re vaccinated but will don one while serving you if you request it.

Beer was cold and delicious as always.
