Starting my wife’s birthday morning with a Hoof Hearted Discount Nachos. She is having some sort of alcohol infused ice tea. Man the years keep passing by.

Goodmorning advocates. Aint much to do today but drink and watch some nba. Nice to see harden settle in well in Brooklyn. Drinking a Finback BQE Chocolate Coffee varient and its fantastic cheers

 

I will gladly argue that this may be the best new beer of last year.
But I will not argue about this merits of this song.

right off the bat this one screams Diacetyl in the smell with some black coffee. The taste is you guessed up front diacetyl very strong. After about three sips I’m used to it and some bakers chocolate and coffee come thru with a light acidity and bitterness but this was too far off for me and I didn’t not drink half and dumped it. In another thread there is a discussion @TongoRad @JackHorzempa about acceptable levels of diacetyl. I do not know the parameters of what is and isn’t acceptable just by taste but this one is too much for me. Drawn butter and oily vanilla cake batter. A shame really. Possibly an old bottle as well. My job carries a lot of these. I will say though the head on this beer was so firm and stiff it did not budge I drank through quarter liter of foam for another pour.

Have a good Sunday. I paid for dinner last night. Another 8 hour shift. I woke up 5 minutes before work so I worked a bit over to get my 8 hours. Good food. Eggs were at 5 am. Hot sauce and salt/pepper. Macaroni salad was, good but a bit sweet. Onions and bell peppers in there.

I fucking love this band, the 2020 album was #21 on last.fm. One of the bands that made me buy a 8 string. I already put 1000 plays in since the turn of the year.

 

Did you eat all 8 eggs at once? You are a trooper. I like eggs but 8 hard boiled is some hard body stuff right there.

Hazy gold. Firm foam goes down to half finger lasting throughout. Smells is almost non existent. Some clove phenols. Some lemon type things very minimal. Taste is bland. Tiny amount of that banana clove lemon thing. Feel is creamy and full bodied. It’s ok. Just bland and no I do not have covid lmao

the riffs. The anger. Max’s broken English makes it better. Igor hits those drums harder than anyone I’ve ever heard. Peace.
