Revolution Brewing (2021)

The 1pp limit on ryeway did help ease the pain on my bank account, as advertised. However, the crowler did do some damage. I normally don't get them because it seems so decadent but I couldn't resist this one!

 

It was definitely mobile via the email link. It defaulted back to Friday at noon pick up for some reason when it didn't go through at first. Once I fixed that, I got through NP. Had to try and 4 or 5 times, and start over each time. I have this hypothesis that many people always go for the first time slot of a release so they can get it in hand ASAP and do whatever shitlordy thing they plan to do with it.

 

Your hypothesis does not take into account traffic leaving Chicago, especially on a Friday!
I make appointments early in Chicago and then work to GET OUT as fast as I can - you never know what you're gonna run into after 2pm, especially with winter weather. Of course, during these COVID times the highway traffic has been much lighter, while city traffic still seems crazy as usual.
I HATE doing shitlordy things, but I will take a picture of my the back of my car full of beer for myself and for proxies, and then send it on to their future owners letting them know I'm on my way. And then look forward to trying the beers on Friday (and perhaps Saturday, and then Sunday, ....)

Thanks for posting. Didn't read any of it, as I immediately clicked the link to purchase my allotment. Glad they are spreading the love, hope they keep the policy for future rarer releases.

Also noticed the tipping adding to the Rev Points sometime last year. Really hope they keep that feature permanent, both to go and onsite. I'm probably one of the minority who earns a majority of their points via onsite visits at the Brewpub/Taproom (or at least I did until the Rona hit). I receive great service at nearly every brewery I visit, but Rev's staff delivers at an elite level. Really looking forward to the reopening of both, hopefully sometime this year.

Only disappointment today was A Little Crazy wasn't also available (typically released late December/early January), though this allowed me to order another Ryeway 4 pack to bring back on the upcoming beer run. A Little Crazy is one of my four seasonal releases I must buy each year (Bell's Oberon/Spring, Founders Mosaic Promise/Summer & Spiteful Brewing's 10/9 Bike Messenger Appreciation Day/Fall the other three).

 

Thanks for all this. A Little Crazy is hopefully getting canned tomorrow. We try to avoid selling a beer we don't have canned yet because of the confusion it could cause and occasionally things get delayed. The new artwork is sick!

If I'm remembering correctly, I think the last one was 8:30am.

 

They never say the time ahead of time. It will most likely be between 8-9am.

 

Is tomorrow’s sale or on their curbside pickup page or a special link?

 

Usually just shows up as an item in their curbside store

Details and discussion have always been on the Facebook event page for these releases. Even their Instagram says to check out the event page link, which is on Facebook. (Most of the reason I’m still using FB)
There has never been a special link for the public sale of special releases, the items will appear in the Rev Shop under Curbside Beer sometime in the morning.

 

Does anyone know if they are distributing on and on? I dont need 4 cans of that lol
