Industrial Arts barrel aged their Black Is Beautiful contribution. It's probably not a coincidence that this was released the weekend prior to MLK Day. As a student of history, I believe we shouldn't prescribe to any particular date or month to commemorate the contributions to society that BIPOC have brought us, and celebrate them year round. But for as long as that's the norm, let's take these few days to remember those special moments in history. 1968 was a crazy year that rivals the events of 2020, including when one of the most prolific leaders of the Civil Rights movement in the USA taken from us. To his memory, cheers, one and all.

 

Still Dripping from False Idol Brewing a new local. A New England Triple IPA 10% ABV. Reminds of Jackie Daytona It's a tasty beer. Slightly more bitter.

 

Hopslam still does it for me!

Starting to cook a lentil and sausage soup with my girlfriend while tucking into this classic.



Shortly after pouring, this was delivered. The best living short story writer (I might give Jhumpa Lahiri 1b.) on four of the greatest of all time, including my favorite, Chekhov.
