Been a while since I thought about that band. I always wondered if they got permission to use Gacey and Ramirez' artwork on their albums or if they just did it. Maybe you can answer that?

 

I honestly don’t know. I did see them live once with in 95-ish. Then caught a Dax solo show in 2012-ish. Their studio albums were recently added to Spotify and that Golgotha is on YouTube. Perfect soundtracks for drinking a Rev brew or two.

 

I wouldn't expect them to announce that until around early September.

 

I'd bet a shiny quarter it'll be sooner than that. Strawberry Jacket and Honey Jacket (both Deep Wood releases) came out in July 2019 (and we're announced about a month prior) and Thundertaker, just released last year, was supposed to be released in April 2020 (and announced prior) but was moved to September due to Covid. I think we can assume Rev will have something announced late spring/earlysummer.

 

Gotcha! I guess I understood him to mean the next "series" release and not the one-offs. Those typically begin in October.
