    Headed to the club to play some tennis, advocates. I'll be back later sipping on an IPA. Will I revisit another classic or lean back towards my hazies? I guess it will depend on how I play. This is my first time playing since being sick, and holy hell was I sick. F*ck COVID. That is all. I love you.

    That young woman friend of mine introduced me to them about ten years ago. I make sure to listen to them once a month or so. Cheers...

    Yes I didn’t bother to look the tv series up, hopefully the long awaited season is due soon.

    look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

    Dark amber colored body, clear; excellent carbonation; thick and lasting bone white head; sticky bits of foam adhere to the glass. Mildly sweet aroma with notes of light caramel and brown sugar. Very nice dark malt sweetness to the taste, rich and nutty; nice complementary bitterness level to accentuate the malt sweetness. Medium-heavy body with a nice lager smoothness; slick; gently sweet mouthfeel throughout the tasting experience.

    As of this review, the beer is listed as a dunkel weizen on BA but as a Munich Dunkel on Untapped. I've initiated contact with the brewery to resolve this issue, but for my money, this tastes and feels like a European dark lager. Regardless of style, the beer has a great, all-around dark beer quality, smooth and slightly sweet with a very agreeable ABV level.

    I’d have to check my database to be sure but believe this is the only Eisbock I’ve had. Not a heavily brewed style for sure. Anyway, this is a great beer.

    The Hip doing My Music At Work. Second song, I saw Van on this tour at his only Canadian date in Toronto. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Cheers. [​IMG]

    Wonderland Nectarine Ale from Sierra Nevada. I guess this beer is SN’s Spring Seasonal. It’s a nice fruity IPA and will be more enjoyable in the Spring.
