    Chores are done, I vacuumed the whole house because Mrs Gee told me the vacuum was broken. Code words for time to change the bag and unstring the beater bar.

    I’m outside now, new seed and suet cake for the birdies. Just sitting here enjoying the peace and quiet, my buddy Henri is lurking somewhere out here. He’s camera shy today either that or he found a squirrel to chase.

    [​IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Snulip canned on 1/19/2021. Pours a cloudy yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves little dabs of lace with excellent retention. 4.25

    Aroma peach, papaya, tangerine, marijuana, pine, and grapefruit rind. 4

    Taste follows pine, grapefruit, and marijuana upfront, peach, tangerine, and papaya in the balanced and lingering finish. 4.25

    Mouthfeel is bigger than average, a tad dry and sticky, plenty of life but softer than most West Coast IPAs, and at 7.5% ABV bigger in flavor but easy going down. 4.25

    Overall another excellent IPA from Kettlehead. I recommend. 4.25

    But the name... I would have to wrap the can in foil and drink it blind, so that my judgement of it wouldn't be skewed by the notion of skunky beer.

    Ever since the Chess Netflix series (Queen’s Gambit), my wife wants to play me all the time, she has been getting all kind of Chess books. I only have one opening and one defensive opening, but they work. I’m enjoying my 15 minutes of fame at home. Cheers!
