Round #2

Pulling this glass from the cabinet made me think. Stone, Sierra Nevada, Boston Brewing Company & Sixpoint are the only companies I've made the effort to order glasses from directly. I use to drink a ton of their beers and picked up every new release. Last year they combined for 7 of my nearly 350 reviews. I'm just not interested in generic and/or hazy IPAs or sours. The innovators have become the followers. Sad, and possibly, inevitable.

That said, I'll drink the hell out of SSR or anything else these guys want to pull out of the retired bin. Much more interesting than the rest of their lineup...

Also, Stone I have an Old Guardian glass I'd love to break out for more than my homebrew...

Pastrytown, the last festival I visited before everything collapsed

 

A beautiful sunny day here. The dogs say they're ready for a walk.

 

I see the DDH King Sue posts. I have not tried that beer yet. My store posted receiving it yesterday, and I was very tempted to rush there immediately to get it, but I decided that having an inventory of this beer made a trip to the store unnecessary.

 

This stuff is really growing on me.

 

Might be the best Tree House ipa I've had. This and mega treat blow my mind no matter how many times I have it cheers

 

What's the verdict?

 

Have one of those on deck for tonight, can hardly wait.

 

Not what it was in 2019. Still a behemoth of hops, but no hop burn, a little chalky, and noticeably sweeter. I’m guessing that 4.4 Untappd rating will get voted down a notch.

Make it the very last ipa you drink. It will ruin any other ipa you have afterwards
