    Rise & shine! A snowy day off, with a nice little imperial dessert stout to ward off those winter blues: Better Than Cake, from SingleSpeed Brewing, Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA. The base beer is their imperial milk stout, which is infused with cacao nibs, coconut, and toasted pecan to mimic the flavor profile of German chocolate cake. Should we skip the meal and head straight for the dessert? Let's!

    Ah! I had Philly cheesesteaks a number of time before in the US even though I was nowhere close to Philly and PA.

    I’m the kind of guy that eat Kebabs instead of seafood on the coast and drink beer instead of mint juleps at a formal wedding. :wink:

    If you were nowhere close to Philly or PA, odds are you had a steak & cheese. Yes, I'm protective of the real thing. However, NYC has some authentic ones; NJ as well. I also found a spot during my time in CT that was opened up by a dude who spent his entire life in Philly. Those were some of the best I've ever had. I love you.

    Sounds about right. Yes, as an also food lover I’m very respectful of the authenticity and tradition of such and such ingredients, meal and food.

    I was in the Southwest, and had a few in San Fran and they were good, they’d call it a cheesesteak indeed not sure about the Philly part (don’t remember).

    I’m stuck in nostalgia now and remember drinking Rootbeer all the time. Crazy how I crave this NA beverage every time I’m on your continent, because coke and Pepsi is pretty much all we find here.

    My gf made apple pie last week. This is probably my favorite fruit beer of all time. At least the best Sam smith's one. She loves it.
