    ^^ this 100%

I remember one of the craziest trades I ever did, 2014 - for a growler of King Sue. Electric tape around the cap. I had it shipped to my office and me and my tasting crew immediately assembled the day it landed to drink it - and it was other world shit, total IIPA whale. Today it’s a shell of its former self to me, and somehow DDH KS is even worse to me. Sad. Maybe it’s lupulin threshold shift. Doubt it though.

Remember Smoove Opferator brown ale? That's the only one I never had from back then. Imagine TG making something like a brown ale now. Would it be a hazy brown?

Remember the OG $5.99 bombers of Psuedo Sue, It was literally other world 2009/2010 and if Casanova/Hudson tweeted they had it you dropped everything and were on your way.

Raptor F-22 someone posted on Twitter they saw it when they did a tour. Makes sense because TGs post makes it sound like a stealth fighter (which both are stealth fighter planes) but said it’s going to be a new beer, not a new blend.

I miss those. I remember trying like hell to get those Xhop beers from Casanova in Hudson.

I still enjoy TG beers. King Sue is one of my all-time favorites. And I'm much more a lager fan than IPA/DIPA guy.

Something along those lines, but the name will change for it and SR71 from what I gather...

Those were fun. Per my Untappd I had Xhops Red and Green, etc...starting December 17, 2013. Blue and Yellow Jan 10, 2014, Orange a couple weeks after that, Rainbow a few weeks later, etc...

I imagine Casanovas lost a ton of MN business once they started getting distributed here.

I heard the liquor store is actually for sale right now and the Nova restaurant is permanently closed?

Thinking back, so many good memories with Toppling Goliath. Seems like we used to make trips down there almost every 2 weeks for some new release by the case. Pseudo Sue in Jun 29, 2013 for the 1st time, SOSUS in October of 2013. Used to love making that drive....so beautiful. King Sue Feb of 2014 for 18 growlers....LOL.

Now I don't even follow them on any social media or buy anything they offer. Saw Naughty 90 oak aged bottles last Friday and kept right on walking.

Totally this. They’re a shell of what they were once MN opened Sunday liquor sales and TG got distro here - I went a few months ago and the staff was soooooo awesome, but I felt they were rag & bone folk selling me random warm, shelf shit I could care less about. And they said they were renovating the restaurant, so wouldn’t be surprised if it closed. But I was bummed to see what it had become. I pray for a rising of the Casanova Phoenix!! They need some help from distributors and breweries to get people excited about that trip again - VSOJ drops??? CW brewery only releases? Let us know you still ‘got it’ and we’ll be back - otherwise a long ass drive for warm beers

Never got to try any of the WAY back XHops bombers but of the ones I did have the Gold still stands out in my mind as one of the best pale ales I have ever had. The amount of lush aromatics and rich flavor they could cram into such crushable low gravity beers is a dragon I'm still chasing to no avail.

If I remember correctly I believe it was XHops Red that went on to become part of their rotating releases as Sol Hunter pale ale. Not sure if there were other XHop beers that graduated to having a name and repeat releases but I remember picking up that tidbit about Sol Hunter at some point along the way when I used to follow them on Twitter.
