Late November Small Laced In Space at a Piggly Wiggly in the suburbs of Milwaukee, the mighty have fallen.

$22 plus tax vs $9 plus tax for Sue, think my brother probably should have stuck with the Sue at that price point.

This shoutout goes out to beer groups that promote and discuss our product across the country, specifically the Facebook ‘Other Half Everything Club’, which is the largest OH specific group online.

So today we’ll be doing the OH Anniversary dance to celebrate all they’ve done for our brewery. We all know you can't sell beer on Facebook, but you're cordially invited to enjoy the latest release of these *Empty Collectibles* -- High-Density Hop Charge Small Citra Everything PHANTASM Experimental Version. And no this is not just the same old Small ACE with a different label. They are actually *Full Disposables* for the sake of accuracy.

The line is currently to the corner of Smith & Garnet, and the stroller situation is a mix of normal and extra wides. It’s a beautiful day for a line share, and there doesn’t appear to be any chance of flying hard seltzer in the forecast.

Only authentic Untappd ratings are allowed. If we find out that someone has fabricated sock accounts to artificially drive up the rating, we’ll have to shut down the site. That will probably anger Diane Perez, because we don’t have permission and it should remain open forever.

Also, we’ve said this once, and we’ll say it again. WE DO NOT NEED MULE THANK YOU POSTS, EVER.

A huge thank you to everyone that takes the time to share and discuss their enjoyment of Other Half online! We appreciate your continued support!

Even if I'm not in the group, I'm really happy they included this one

I personally don't know how I'm going to return to a world of waiting for line updates. The prospect of buying anniversary beers from the warmth of my couch is surreal. The last time I camped out in a line was for a college basketball game. I don't know how anyone does it as an adult, much less in the frigid temps.

That being said I'll gladly take the dregs and overproduced versions of their anniversary releases in exchange for a more normal world - carry on OH carry on.

Also, on a very off topic note, the Popeye's in Gowanus on 3rd and 14th looks about ready to open. McDonald's may have the parking but goodness me I know where to stop on the way back from the brewery.

Man, that sounds amazing. While I was living around 92nd and columbus, a popeyes opened at 95th and broadway that changed my life. I still work on the upper west and any weight I've lost since COVID went down has been due to working from home and being unable to pretty much just step outside for a 2 piece and a biscuit.

You might be the first person that I have heard who has lost weight during this pandemic.

I don't blame you. I rarely have it but when I do I treat myself with a 4 piece and fries.

This post is so meta. I love it.

I took up running, and currently do arou d 20 miles/week. I'm down 20 lbs since the pandemic started. Living in the suburbs definitely has something to do with this (sorry for stealing your thunder @rozzom)

The burbs or the running? In either case wtf man. And congrats!!

While I usually hover around a pretty constant weight, I have set a couple PRs over a couple different distances, and am prob a pound or two under my average.

Who else thinks High-Density Hop Charge Small Citra Everything PHANTASM Experimental Version is going to be a melon bomb?

FB groups seem to be worried this post might draw some unwanted attention to their beer selling and trading.

Drinking New Year Sunrise right now. I didn’t realize it was 10% when I bought it. I’ve been straying away from big ABV IPAs lately.

The aroma is really nice - stone fruit, resiny.

The flavor - not so much. It’s so overwhelmingly “melony”. It’s not a good melon characteristic though. It tastes very artificial, almost as if it was an unintended flavor. I don’t think this from the NZ/southern hemi hops as I have never experienced this in a beer before. I would need to have mote of their recent beers to test my hypothesis that it’s a flaw in the yeast.

This is not your grandfather’s Green Power melon.

I haven’t been drinking much OH lately - and when I do get there I tend to stick with my usual favorites, especially with 50 damn beers to choose from.

I would be down in weight if my school didn't give everyone free lunches all fall. "Don't want to touch my covid-infested money? Fine, I'll eat all your crappy pizza."

But I've been biking like crazy (indoors when I have to), and I plan to exit this bitch in better shape than I've been in since 2000.

Oh yeah, I'd better make sure this is beer-related. I have a spreadsheet that calculates my "miles per beer" average, and I use that as my motivator on both ends. Onward!

There's a regular in the OH group that made a post a few years ago about how you don't need to thank mules. It started a chain of thank you posts, and is a meme in the group now.

Yes, pretty cool shout out - but the irony is the amount of bashing of recent OH quality that is going on in the group lately...
