Locals or $4. Be up front that you're intent is not an auction but you are interested in whatever styles of beer e.g. pilsner or beers from certain breweries e.g. anything Hill Farmstead or something similar to... e.g.really enjoyed Hardywood Kentucky Christmas morning, looking for similar bottles.

Off the bat you have a style you’re in search of so I think that’s a good start. However, I also think you need to temper your expectations if you’re not going to provide specific BA stout bottles, without knowing the stout bottles you have to offer. You may get all kinds of offers and may annoy people if you’re repeatedly rebuffing offers since they come offering non specific BA stouts, but you don’t think they’re worth it for what you’re offering.

That is a good point. I am going to specify the ones I have for trade and I will try to narrow down what i might be interested in. The bottles I have are not bad (horus coco dose, ww/p3 smore than a friendship, eq pb swiss bliss, black tuesday 17) but they are not top tier like the ones I normally search out in the limited forum. Maybe I will try to find a handful of bottles I would be good receiving back and just start from there.

Looking for a THH20. Would a LPK15, Abrikoos, St Lam 14 and Vig 14 get it done?

Looking to try some Eighth state. I see some of their newer releases (Microcosm, monolith) trading pretty high. Are there any Eighth state stouts that are excellent and maybe overlooked that are relatively easy to get and a good expression of the brewery?

Their BA beers are going to be tough, but mainly just bc of low bottle counts. Of their non-BA beers: TDB, Penrose, and Old Gods (stoutly wine) are my personal favorites.

Are BCBS Anny + BDay the same value as a A Deal With The Devil + Blessed? Was going to cross my fingers and post in $4$.

Does EH Taylor Straight Rye have any trade value other than retail? Any bigger BA stouts I could snag with it? TG, SP, Forager, P3, etc..

Anybody know what the trade value of PtY will be this year? I have FT:
    SW Uncut
    EC BP
    Yama 12
    Fou Foune
    Zenne B6
    BA Dorothy
    Dark Lord ‘18

Does any of that get it done?

If you can wait a week it’s going to be far, far lower than it is now. It’s an IPA. Or, you could just wait until next year to try it when it’s on tap at plenty of places if you’re near enough to Philly.

edit: to provide a more direct answer to your question though, it’s very hard to tell with some of these nostalgia-fueled releases because some people value it relative to scarcity/demand/taste while others put a high premium on it due purely to its name... but I assume stuff like Fou and Zenne should get it easily.

I hope WCIPAs really blow your mind because it's really unremarkable to today's palate. Regularly available Fat Head's shelfies attain an indistinguishable flavor profile at around the same ABV. I'm not sure if you have similarly high quality WCIPA producers near you but it might be mildly entertaining to do a side by side.

The value is a little higher than retail. You should have a decent chance getting bottles like Barrel Slayer or some of the lower-valued Forager stouts like Tenzing or Nillerzzz b3. Straight Rye is a bit lower than these, but of course people usually trade over a little when trading beer for bourbon/rye.

Seeing all these absurd PtY trade requests, it’s gonna be fun watching the game of chicken that ensues as time goes on, both from the hopeful seller and buyer. Wonder who will bend first as that first month after release approaches?
