Yes, beer stored cold will resist staling. My local beer retailers store the vast majority of their beers at 'room' temperature and I used single quotes since we are approaching summertime and a number of the Retail Beer Distributors do not air condition their large, warehouse type buildings and those beers are then stored in warm/hot conditions.

    Cheers!

I haven't seen this variety pack yet, but I'd like to try some fresh Flipside. I have only had it at around 6 months old and they were extremely malty.

I'll be grabbing one ASAP. Not my favorite lineup of beers but they are all high quality and I want to support SN. Worst case scenario my fridge is full of more beer and that isn't the biggest problem in my life atm. Once I have friends coming over again I am sure they will disappear quickly. I don't have an excuse to do so right now but eventually I need to hit the NC taproom because BA Torpedo sounds interesting I have a 50% feeling I may hate it or love it so I need to check it out.

Aren't most nationally popular craft brews more expensive in Pa than in many/most states?

On my weekly Summerfest search today, I found a variety 12 pack packaged 4/16/20 that included SNPA, Torpedo, Hop Bullet, and 40th Anniversary (14.99). All excellent beers and a no-brainer for the money. Still, I would trade my last sanitizing wipe for a Summerfest!

Same variety pack we got here in GA. Pretty lazy one IMO, they could have throw in a limited one in there.

I can buy a six-pack of Bells Two Hearted for $9.99 at my local PA beer retailer. What do you pay for this beer?

    Cheers!

I'm not certain, but that $9.99 sounds about right. There are likely variable prices, maybe less at a few places. I just remember many complaints about Pa pricing relative to nearby states.

Yeah, I have commented upon that too. Like a Sierra Nevada 12-pack of SNPA being $20+.

It seems that for some reason beers from Bells are reasonably priced but that is not the case for others.

    Cheers!

I came across a new SN beer (electropical ipa) at Trader Joe’s on Sunday. I bought a couple cans. Not a bad west coast style ipa. I’m surprised they didn’t put a few of these in their mix packs.

A couple of weeks back I came across Electropical at TJ's and picked it up. You're right, not bad at all. I looked for more info on it at Sierra Nevada's website but there's no mention of it. Could it be a TJ's exclusive beer? Or another SN beer but just re-branded for TJ's? Anybody know what the deal with this one is?

I just saw this year's Crowd Pleaser pack at Costco for the first time. It has six cans each of Pale Ale, Torpedo, Tropical Torpedo, and Dankful, with an exterior packaging date of 10/26.

I'll likely eventually get one for the value, but this is kind of underwhelming to me compared to last year's that had Southern Gothic and Skiesta with the usual Pale/Torpedo combo. I haven't tried the reformulated Tropical Torpedo yet so I suppose it's kind of intriguing for that reason, but I haven't exactly been searching it out either. Dankful is really good but it's hard for me to get as excited as I would normally be for it when it's out at the same time as Celebration.

Yeah, tough to beat the Southern Gothic and Skiesta combo (for me anyway). I'm fine with cans of SNPA and Torpedo but they should include at least 2 beers which would not otherwise be available to the market at the same time. Agreed.

The Sierra Nevada website is showing the Sampler as containing SNPA, Torpedo, Hop Bullet, and 40th Anniversary. However, I saw a pic online of a Sampler pack containing SNPA, Torpedo, Dankful IPA, and Wanderland "Nectarine Ale." Can anyone confirm seeing the Dankful/Wanderland version in a store and, if so, what city/state? 40th Anniversary is getting kind of old (1st quarter slot replaced by Wanderland), so it would make sense to have this other version replace SNPA, Torpedo, Hop Bullet, and 40th Anniversary. Thanks!

Saw one in Costco in CA today that definitely had Dankful, Pale & Torpedo; I think wanderland was the 4th one, but didn’t pay enough attention (I’m so annoyed at Wanderland displacing celebration ale on the shelves too soon that I block it from my thoughts).

Good info, thanks. I bet the 4th was that beer that annoys you.

All their beers are IPAs now? Seriously?

I just had that same realization the other day. I drink mostly dark beers from them and someone on here called them a "IPA factory" and I decided to go check their site and damn, its a lot of ipas

That’s pretty unfortunate. Their best beers are not the hoppy ones. They’re not bad beers, per se, but they’ve discontinued so many of their best beers (too many to list here) that besides Celebration, I don’t buy their beer anymore.
