    Good morning, BAs! Been awhile since I got to start the thread. Always on a Sunday...I love Sunday morning sipping.

    This one seemed appropriate since we’re about to get some weather. 12-15 inches now they’re saying over the next 48 hours. We got zero last year, so that’s quite an event!

    Good day advocates!

    Finally the light at the end of the tunnel re - those renovation work in my bathroom I had mentioned for a while now.

    We started off with this crap:

    Essentially an old wall and shitty tile which needed to be replaced and removed ASAP as the humidity and moist was leaving an unpleasant smell.

    Finally! Tile is clean, white and pretty standard but this hard work paid off. I’m thankful for my father for helping out a lot and now that his birthday is coming soon in February he will get plenty of gifts from me and the missus.

    Gloomy 59° walk with dogs this am...cloudy and low 60s forecast for the day...I’ll take it over the snow that’s falling up North. My usual coffee - FBS:

    Bottled 9/9/20. Poured at 58°. I have more BWs for later, including a Bigfoot vertical I’ve been sitting on for years...

    Today is my 6th Anniversary of retiring from a job I frequently hated, and joining BA (830 individual beer reviews) and Untappd (3424 individual beer “reviews”). I hope to add to those totals today, and in the coming year...and thanks BA for a welcoming site to hang out and have fun drinking beer with other beer geeks.     cross threading this with a full review in new beer weekend. Added a pic to the database only one review before me so how that for new. Can day from October and this this is still very green and aggressive. Centennial is the star here. Peace.

    Good day BAs! Off to a snowy start to the day - we get an inch, most melts off, we get an inch, most melts off, etc. That part that doesn't melt off is slowly building up - eventually it'll be a glacier advancing across my yard - for now, my snow blower'll keep it at bay.     This is why you shouldn't drink before noon. What am I drinking right now, you ask? Nothing. I'm eating vegetarian organic refried beans straight from the can. I never heat them up, and this is why I give world-class advice. Haha!

    I experimented with replacing half of my January beer consumption with na’s, and overall it went well. I lost 5 lbs, I feel healthier, my liver doesn’t hurt anymore, and I still got to drink many A+ beers. I think I’m going to continue alternating with na’s going forward, since I plan to live to 120, and I want to still be drinking many good beers then.

    This na isn’t a winner, so I’m treating it as a tick and a new experience. Seriously smells and tastes like spicy queso with refried beans. No coffee stout to be found here, but it’s unique at least!

    I’ve never heard of a Barleywine with maple, but I like these guys and they’re local. And actually, it’s pretty good.

    I am a known non IPA drinker. I like them but they are definitely not regular for me. This was kept refrigerated since October as we are obligated to do so in store for all 16oz ipas. This bitterness lingered a while. Does this have impact? Maybe it was the Centennial is high dose? I need an expert opinion. Lol.
