Spending as much time as I can outside today, its beautiful out. Beer and book in the courtyard after several mile walk with the pup. Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze, one of my all time favorite and now available in town for the first time, which is great. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Hey, I found the song Never Let Me Go, by "Judy Bridgewater" ha. Actually sung by Jane Monheit for the movie apparently (which I haven't seen). The song is great though.

Riverlands Morning Luau Imperial Porter w/ coffee and coconut. The coffee and coconut are there throughout, with the base beer bringing roasted malt, some molasses, and loads of bittersweet chocolate chip. The coffee seems like a light or medium roast, so it’s not a coffee bomb but you still know it’s a coffee beer. The beer isn’t too sweet and is well balanced all around. More of a medium body, but this is a porter and not a stout. Highly enjoyable offering from a really solid brewery.

Settling in to see if my Spurs can right the ship after the horrific Liverpool match. This is absolutely fantastic. So much taste for a sub-4% beer. Grassy, slightly hoppy and just a touch of funk. Awesome Anniversary beer from Threes.

Now I'm having a Bright White from Bell's. It's a Belgian inspired wheat ale according to the bottle. Great head, great retention and lacing. Notes of banana and clove. Yeasty. This is a nice one.

The season of Cascadian Dark Ale continues here. I need to do a tasting line-up, with Self-Righteous, Dubhe, and Ruffneck.

Brighton's not going to make it too easy for them. My Draft Kings fantasy pick is split between the two.

I got into them about a year ago. I had liked a lot of their songs especially from the 80’s before and didn’t realize all of those songs were by them. They’ve got some hits!

Holy !?# Crap *!# Batman!! I’m an imperial stout and 2 barleywines into my day and the ever nefarious Mrs. Z springs the news that Grout Busters are coming tomorrow to do the floors and replace/recolor the grout throughout the house (my super hero wallet puckers as I type), and we (read “your caped beer crusader”) have to move/clear the floors of everything but the largest pieces of furniture...and dear viewers, to make matters worse, I drank all the Barleywine, etc. (plus 1!) that I had set aside for this 3 day weekend...what’s a boy to do?...

Rise to the occasion, forego my nap, postpone the post holes I was supposed to dig today for tomorrow’s shed building, and move tons of stuff while Mrs. Z and the dogs nap on the new “super” comfy sofa...and now reach into my secret “office chiller” filled with bottle waxed tempting treats - and pull Lakefront’s “Black Friday Barleywine” (2019):

I am advised that folks line up at midnight to get a bottle or two ( thanks to @Number1Framer! for this special beer ) of these limited release beers on Black Friday....omg, this beer may be the best beer I’m drinking this weekend...working on my notes for the BW thread...

After snowblowing the first 10" of our latest storm (thanks lake enhancement), enjoying a MobCraft Padishah Cognac. Not looking forward to round 2 of snowblowing (of course the plow came through right after I came inside).
