    On the 2nd day of Channukah, i'm enjoying a Bazelet Double Bock. I gotta say, this is a damn tasty double bock from an Israeli brewer. Talk about full circle, a Jewish brewery brewing a damn fine German Style beer. Awesome.![​IMG]

    Trying to be a good wife, and trying to add to my tick list, she bought me some GL Commadore Perry, but it's past it's best by date. I don't know what it tastes like fresh, but the smell is kinda gross and it almost tastes like a brown ale, a style I'm not fond of. Literally zero hop profile in this.

    I'll finish it, it's drinkable, but she went to a store with a small selection. Was kind of just hoping for good ol' SNPA.
    Oh well, I'll almost never complain when my wife brings me beer without me asking.

    It's good man...still exploring these Belgian styles but the balance, booze, and flavor are great. One of the better hidden higher abv beers I've had. Light, crisp, clean and strong.
