    Good day and Bom Dia advocates!

    Why Bom Dia, because I have just ran some quick errands in a Portuguese shop for a couple of beers and some candy treats. I don’t expect either to last longer than this afternoon...

    Super Bock and their stout variant, it’s nowhere as thick bodied or flavorful as many I’ve had from different breweries but I’ll take it. It’s still good, and quaffable. Only 5% ABV.

    Good day BAs! Off to a sunny start to the morning but I assume it'll be overcast (Normal NW PA weather) in a few minutes. At least, with COVID restrictions, Phil had a fairly quiet day yesterday - no crowd of thousands, just a few news people with cameras and the Groundhog club people Phil knows. Apparently a Phil has been prognosticating the weather since 1886 or thereabouts. Most times the prediction is six more weeks of winter which is always correct. Anyway, I didn't find any Straub's Groundhog Alt this year, so I was forced to drink a good beer.
    Today, however, I found a better brew for the New Breakfast Beer:

    A decent malty and resinous IPA - 3.96, rDev +1.8%.

    Have a good Wednesday. Worked 9+ because someone called off, then my 2nd manager came in 2 hours early. Bit of a wild morning. I had a footlong sub for dinner at work. Going to fire up the Rick and Morty piece, coworker will have a nice gift for me before work tonight.

    Awesome as usual, but has a number of months on it.

    Listened to Beyond Creation and Soreption all night. Soreption is a fun band, but I feel like a lot of their riffs are repetitive.
