Trade Value Thread (Q1 2021)

Think I'm getting closer to looking to try for RBBT.

What kind of plus with BBTb4 would do it? Or would the venn diagram with RBBT make it futile either way?

Pluses like recent Voodoo BRC, Wendigo, Achromatic Vibes, Fou, regular DL 2020, Kane's most recent annys, BL 2020 releases, Horus Another Dose or Pacific Porpoise, Atrial 750.

 

Not to rain on your parade but I added BBTb1 as the plus. I over traded a bit, but folks aren't trading them. You could probably add a plus on the level of DBBC and that may do it.

 

I highly doubt this public release set would snag a BBT 4. The Seekers has some trade value because it is a light series beer, but do not think people would be overly excited on the other two. I think if you can add in a ToL or Hex, you will get some more traction.

Anyone know the value of East End's Rye Barrel Gratitude cans? I'm not sure what I should even be offering--higher-tier BA beers (Voodoo, Holy Mountain, etc.), nice hops (TH, Foam, etc.), or if people would even trade the EE cans. Any advice is appreciated

 

Thinking about making my move for a KBBS. Would a Noche Reserve and a PBC Noche '18 do the trick? Is it worth it?

 

While you don't need to be super specific, I think you should include some details on what you're looking for (specific breweries, example beers you're looking for, non BA vs BA , etc..)

It also depends on the stouts you're trading. If you're putting up a KBBS, you better be specific. If you're trading Reg. Bourbon County Stout or similar, then I think you can be vaguer on your ISO.

 

Honestly I think you need to add another noche Reserve. Is it worth it? well if you've never had kbbs I say go for it. I thought it was phenomenal. And I traded for it back when it was worth double than it is now.

Go after a fresher Batch 19 or 20 and solo dome that bish.

 

I would love to get my hands on ADWTD TO and I have Rye BBT. Would I be able to ask for a plus in addition to the Triple Oak and if so how big?

I’d say the exact opposite. TO would need to add a good plus (probably in the 100-200 range). A 1:1 offer would close in a heartbeat.

 

New batch of TO coming very soon with some to Tavour. More bottles than last time. So might be worth waiting a bit. Or acting now. Shrug emoji.

 

Really? I had a hell of a time getting a 2017 DO. I thought TO traded around Rye, but may have to go over to pry one out of someones hands.

His location is Alaska so maybe he’s local to the brewery and gets it from the source.

 

I haven't seen TO that high anywhere. The last trade that I see completed on FB was TO for DB Assassin, and DB Assassin is a good bit lower than Rye BBT.

 

Was the TO up FT or was the DB Assassin FT?

 

I’m not sure. I didn’t see the trade itself. This is just the last update to the TO value thread. It says they went 1:1 but I don’t know which one was FT

 

I saw this confirmed by a certain beer writer on the Barleywine Is Life fb page.
