    Hey Jay,

Sorry about your recent experience with Trillium. Glad to hear that they are going to rectify the situation though. I can confirm that from the photos you provided that Trilliums packaging methods are not up to "industry standard" with their competitors. For example, I've ordered from Aslin and Triple Crossing in January. The shipping costs was $11.81 for 12 cans from Aslin and ~$20.00 for 3 bottles and 4/twelve ounce cans from Triple Crossing. Both breweries packaged their beer using those shipping trays or whatever they are called. I think the trays are a recycled paper material or similar. My point being, for what they charge for shipping, Trillium should have packaged the beer more efficiently than what is shown in the photos. Eq and Burial charges an arm and a leg for shipping but their methods are top notch (ice in the summer, insulated side panels, bubble wrap, etc.).

Yeah but as I recall EQ wasn't doing a good job originally, as I remember similar photos months (years? Feels like it) ago. I think these breweries are just trying, unsurprisingly, to minimize cost, and until enough bad press or refunds happen this is what they'll do. Burial was first to ship a I recall though and I've never heard a complaint, so I suspect they, being less HYPED, wisely reasoned they couldn't afford bad press. Tired Hands however, while expensive to ship, seems to now have it down as well. I think their main issue was shipping time from order placement, but they were good about trying to protect cans/ insulate from what I heard.

I did not know this. My first shipping order from Eq was in August. Ironically, it was the Trillium/Eq Soft Baked Oatmeal Squares release, LOL! However, packaging was A+ and beer arrived very cold!!

In fairness I just looked back and it seems it was broken bottles and lots of oxidized cans. So maybe I misremember?

Just had the recent batch of Shambolic last night. Is there a better deal in saisons right now? I hope they continue to keep this a regular in stock

Thanks for this shorthand . . . as much as I love Tired Hands, I can't make it even 10 minutes through one of those shows.

I hear you. I consider myself a big fan of Tired Hands’s beer, but it’s tough for me to imagine these have much of an audience? Maybe I’m wrong. I copy this from someone else’s post... that said, lots of news I thought was exciting!

Curious about the possible treehouse collab and anchorage barleywine. As far as I know treehouse has never done a collab with anyone

Pumped about more Ouriserva. Beer is so good.

The rest I just see as hype train. Tired Hands collabs rarely live up to the hype in my experience.

To clarify, I was responding in regards to the number of collabs TreeHouse participated in. I did not recall any either as did @Bhubbard34 . After some research on Untappd, I was only able to locate 4 offerings!

I ordered from Trillium as soon as they started shipping to PA and my package came in with barely a scratch on the box. Sounds like it's the handling guys in your area because my box is in pristine condition and I even saved it to use if I need to ship any cans to someone.

I've got a can of this from the summer still sitting in my fridge. Was hoping to pull the yeast and harvest it for homebrewing. I've got a good knack brewing Saisons and was interested in their house strain/brett. I generally use Belgian Ardennes or the duPont strain (if I want to open ferment). I certainly prefer TH saisons and they make some clean pilsners and helles.

I encourage you to look at page 1 of 2 of this thread. @JayORear posted pictures. May have been an isolated event. However, point being is for $30.00 shipping fee, you would expect some additional bubblewrap, padding, thicker cardboard, etc.
