Seems like an appropriate choice for some reason.
I enjoyed the EPL matches which had lots of drama. The conditions in London were dreadful. Sunny here, but cool.
    Cheers!

Southerleigh Gold Export lager at the Pearl Brewery after my run on the Riverwalk. The lady in the background is slinging the best brisket I've ever had, and that includes Franklin BBQ in Austin. Straight salt and pepper prime brisket smoked over oak.

Knowing that my local (actual, vice "local") has some Hopslam on hand, I don't mind downing my penultimate bottle right now.

I dig New Trail, and Human Robot are my boys, so it’s not surprising that I find this collab pilsner charming.

Ha - Franklin's was good, but I still think Black's, Smitty's, and Kreuz are my stand-outs for TX BBQ when I'm back in central Texas. Plus the latter 3 have shorter lines.
    Cheers!

Apparently Franklin is opening a new "Japanese BBQ" spot a few blocks away from me. Him and the owners bought a church of all things, and are re purposing it for a new BBQ restaurant. I can see the construction all the time when I go by, and can only imagine the line will wrap around to my front door, as the "foodies" in Houston just want to trend chase

Don't get me wrong Franklin's is good, just not waiting in those lines, and I have always found something else just as good with no lines or hype easily enough.

Debating whether to brave the cold (1 F) weather for something to eat, or pulling something from the freezer. Getting sick of Winter and much more cold scheduled for at least the next week. The "Big Game" already over, it's not Liverpool's year sadly.

Two more from Saturday Morning Flashback, 1980 with OG Music Video accompaniment.

Watching the 2nd half of the IU game, what I thought was going to be a lopsided game is surprisingly way closer than expected - my Hoosiers are actually get'n it done. (!!!)

Two cans left of this beer that I don't really care for. Calyptic Cloud from Rustic Brewing. As I said in a previous WBAYDN thread, I paid $22 for the goddamn 4-pack, so i'm going to drink it.
