Looks like cranberry/raspberry juice with pink head. No lace.
S: cherry, raspberry, slight funky, tart, flowers.
T: there’s a lot going on and I can taste most of it. cherry, raspberry, minimally funky, tart, sweet, wine, honey, floral, oak, vanilla. Slightly medicinal. Maybe the hint of whiskey barrel?
F: fairly thin-average. Lambic-esque, dry.
Overall: complex yet light. Very nice.

Happy Snow cleanup-day after crappy SB- waiting for another storm Tues- Monday night.
After snow removal I had 2 of the best Applegate dogs Ive ever had -fresh Guac and Tiger Bite Sauce. Was beautiful out I must say. That sun is saying Spring cant be far off. Enjoying another WC beauty from @Nugganooch Collab between Burgeon and Modern Times.

Dinner prep is complete, so enjoying this DIPA from Treehouse while I read my kindle, as I have a half an hour or so before before it’s time to start grilling.

 

Agree 100% on that one. Have a few of those in the fridge right now. That Hurricane I posted in NBW was stupendous. Wait did I just say that?

 

Tastes very nice for an old beer. Finally figured out the date, and this appears to be a 2019 vintage. Thanks, Total Wine!

 

Beer number three is a Collective Arts collab with Civil Society. An 11.6% Imperial Stout aged in Canadian Whiskey barrels and brewed with marshmallows, cocoa, cinnamon and lactose. The first time I tried this about five months ago I found the cinnamon way over the top and the beer almost undrinkable as a result. It seems to have dumbed down a bit in the interim. Still, I’ve had other Stouts done with cinnamon that I greatly prefer to this. Cheers.

Trillium Daily Serving with Blackberry and Plum. Not as over the top as the "double" mixed berry version I had recently, but tasty and refreshing nonetheless. Good prep for an evening Zoom call where a slight buzz will be in order.
