I believe the price will be $75 so it’s not quite TG ridiculous.

A few numbers on Double Oaked Vanilla if anyone’s curious.
    391 sold to locals.
    1068 going to Tavour.
    11 cases going to Denmark.

It would be real nice if a slightly higher percentage of Triple Oaked were sold to locals but it is what it is. Fingers crossed for Friday.

Is a local getting the short end of the stick? 2pp/391 doesn’t break down evenly.

When Tavour puts it out and says better hurry we only got 3 cases of this I can call BS on that.

Is that cases or bottles? I know he specified on the Denmark allotment, but if it’s all cases then that’s a lot of bottles, 17,000+ (12 bottle cases?), Imo.

I’m pretty sure he meant bottles but 1068 bottles is a lot of cases and part of tavours marketing strategy is to make certain beers feel super rare and buy quick before you can think about it.

Right. I figured bottles on the first two, but was going with your point that if it was cases and they (Tavour) said they got so few that it would be bs. 89 cases is still a fair amount depending on the limit Tavour sets.

Probably a 1/2 VRU? But this also largely depends what part of the country your in

EH Taylor Small Batch is highly regional. If you know where to look you can get pretty much unlimited bottles at MSRP in the Bay Area. Other folks in the area who don’t put in the effort will pay 50%+ over MSRP. Still, it’s not that crazy of a bottle around here.

Don’t know if the person who asked is looking for this bottle or is looking to trade it, but assuming they’re looking for it, I wouldn’t see why they’d have to go over $4$ on their side if they’ve got Angry Chair or other limited Florida stouts

Why do bourbon brands otherwise coming out of the same distilleries consistently go their own separate ways to same regional areas for years on end?

I would be in potential possession of EHT and thinking about trading it

Tons of options for you, but as one example I’d think a Bourbon County Weller 12 Anniversary with maybe a couple cans of solid hops on their side to make up for the $4$ would be a nice fair trade for your EHTSmB

No problem! Some other ideas that I’d think are in the ballpark for your EHTSmB:
    • 6 or 7 Revolution Deep Woods Series stout cans
    • Shared CSV + Shared Black is Beautiful (might need a small plus on your side since CSV had to be bought alongside Biere Blanche this year, but worth a shot)
    • Most Medianoches aside from the super desired stuff like Starry and Reserve. Probably a small plus on their end depending on the bottle to makeup for the $4$ difference
