Oddest Trades Involving Beer

A wooden box...not that odd to receive beer though since it was the ADWTD box.

Wish trading beer for other things was more common. Wouldn’t mind trading beer for Celtics memorabilia.

 

Someone in a FB group was trying to trade beer for Pokemon cards. I had some decent ones from a few years ago and was going to offer double ebay value on my end, but I think he was looking for a sucker who had a bunch of early cards that didn't know the value.

 

Some dude on here was trying to trade "Rare Corals"... Like literally corals used in saltwater fish tanks. I think there are even some beers named Rare Corals from back in that era. I remember somebody shopping an old Camaro. Good ole days.

 

I recently traded a KBBS 2020 to a guy for BBT 2020 + Maman 2020. The guy went over on his end to get the KBBS to trade for 2 UNOPENED packs of Pokemon cards. I message him occasionally and he has still not opened the cards.

 

Either a different guy than mine or he was holding out on the big stuff...I was just trying to trade for regular Dark Lord and maybe another bottle of similar value.

Would people be upset if I trade Beer for Magic cards?

plumbing work
help moving with a truck (not a friend)
beef jerky
some art
driveway plowing

I love trading/bartering and am open to just about anything.

 

We used to have a neighbor who would do any auto electrical work at the rate of one 4 pack of sparks and two packs of Parliaments per day

 

I traded a 4 pack of KBS (many years ago when it still held value) and a lemon meringue pie for someone to fix my furnace. Well worth it in the middle of winter in Michigan.

 

On a different site there was someone in Alaska regularly trading halibut/salmon for beer.
