I use to love to read the Anchor beer story on the neck label, hope that remains

 

For all of the crappy beer makeovers discussed, I will say that New Belgium consistently puts out new and innovative labels. I can respect that independent of the quality of their beer.

...On the other end of the spectrum, the classic Lagunitas label on all of the beers gets old. Sometimes Lagunitas beers taste the same to me. I often wonder whether it's the beer, the label, or both.

 

Yeah. I like the redesign.

 

Nobosy asked me, but Anchor and Dogfish head's rebrands make me sad. I do like Troegs though.

That looks like a decent update to the label, loses.some charm.but at least its got continuity

Are you sure that's not an old Bartles and Jaymes ad?

 

They sure look similar - but that is the original label for Finestkind with Cy and Paul. Cheers!

 

It's not bad, but it does lose some personality in the translation.

 

Heck with the old labels--give me the old BEER.

This post brought me back. My parents always had some Bartles and Jaymes in the fridge when I was growing up. I also have a vivid memory of trout fishing with my dad when I was probably around 12 or 13 in the Allegheny National Forest. We were walking through the woods along a stream and came upon a cabin that had cardboard cutouts of Bartles and Jaymes standing prominently in a bay window. They were such a big name at that time, and now are probably mostly forgotten about.

That is horrible......That original label is classic, I love it.....The new one.....Blah.....

On a good not I just found a 4 pack of Really old brown dog from 2014.....I thought it was back and just grabbed it.......I read it ages well......

The new look introduced by New Belgium is absurd. The gold and green design of Rampant was dignified. The money used for the new marketing would have been better spent improving their mediocre line-up of beers.

 

did you see they brought back the retro labels?

 

Haven't seen them yet, which set/theme?
